Prime Minister Calls Strawberry Contamination Culprit an 'Idiot'

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison didn’t mince words on Wednesday, September 19, when he referred to the person responsible for placing needles inside strawberries as an “idiot”.Filming on his way to Question Time, Morrison said the contamination was “disrupting and damaging an entire industry and making parents worried all around the country”.He then urged Australians to continue buying strawberries and announced new laws to increase jail time from 10 to 15 years for people found responsible for food tampering.
