Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on July 24 that Israel was working to end a growing crisis with Jordan and to bring home an Israeli security guard who shot dead two Jordanians at the Israeli Embassy compound in Amman on Sunday.Netanyahu made the remarks at a joint press conference with the prime minister of Georgia, who was visiting Jerusalem.The comments came as Jordanian officials said they would not allow the guard to leave or extend diplomatic immunity to him.
