Ingredients

350 gm boneless chicken breast sliced
1 egg
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp refined flour
1 tsp soy sauce
Salt and pepper as required
Oil for frying

For the gravy
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp garlic chopped
1/2 tsp ginger chopped
1 large onion petals
1 cup Assorted bell peppers thickly sliced
2 green chillies, chopped
1 tbsp light soy sauce
Salt and pepper as required
3 cups Water
2 tbsp corn starch

Method

- In to the pieces of chicken, break the egg along with it add salt, black pepper powder, corn flour, refined flour and dark soy sauce.
- Mix everything well.
- Heat oil in a deep pan on moderate flame and fry these chicken pieces.
- Once fried keep them a side.

For the Gravy:

- In a wok, heat oil and add garlic, ginger and green chillies. Mix them well.
- Add onions and bell peppers to this and give it a toss.
- Add fried chicken pieces in to this mixture and give it a toss.
- Add soy sauce and water.
- Add salt as per requirement and black pepper powder.
- Once the mixture starts boiling add the corn starch mixture.
- Mix them well.
- Delicious Chicken Manchurian is ready to be served!
