20 vjetorin e fitores se parë si force politike, demokratet do ta shfrytëzojnë për të hapur një proces të ri brenda partisë, për te shtuar anëtarësime deri në zgjedhjet e ardhshme te 2013. Kryeministri Sali Berisha, këtë radhe në cilësinë e kreut të PD, lajmëroi përpara kryetareve te rretheve dhe deputeteve, se duke filluar që nga 22 marsi, çdo person në çdo vend mund te behet pjese e partisë. Por demokratet përgatiten për festen e 22 marsit 1992 që siç u shpreh kryeministri ishte dëshmia më e mirë e vendosjes së demokracisë ne Shqipëri. Ndërsa Berisha njoftoi se festa do te zbresë ne kryeqytet, nuk ka kaluar pa batuta vendosja e orës së manifestimit. Ky organizim, që për demokratët konsiderohet i rëndësishëm ka rikthyer Berishën pas një periudhe të gjate mungese mbledhjet të selinë blu, që pas mbajtjes së Këshillit Kombëtar demokrat ku u zgjodh kryesia e re.
