Mango Sasav (Goan Style) - Recipe by Archana - Summer Special - Simple Veg Indian Curry in Marathi

Mango Sasav or Ambyache Sasav is a delicious Indian curry recipe where Mangoes are cooked in mild spices. This curry can be enjoyed with steamed rice. Our chef Archana brings you the simple yet interesting recipe!

Ingredients:

5 Mangoes, peeled
1 Cup Grated Coconut
5 to 6 Fenugreek Seeds
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
4 to 5 Red Chillies
1 1/2 tbsp Oil
7 to 8 Curry Leaves
1 tbsp Jaggery
Salt to taste
Water

Method:

- In a blender, add grated coconut, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, red chillies and some water. Grind everything to a coarse paste.
- In a pan, heat some oil. Then add mustard seeds, curry leaves, above mentioned coconut paste, jaggery & salt.
- Add some water and mix everything well.
- Then add peeled Mangoes.
- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 5 mins on a low flame.
- Mango Sasav is ready!
