South Korea calls for end to "vicious cycle" relationship with North

Hostile rhetoric from the North is nothing new, but Seoul on Wednesday said it was time for a different response.
During a meeting with foreign ambassadors, South Korean President Park Geun-hye called for an end to the "vicious cycle" between the two nations.
Park said they must break the cycle of holding negotiations and providing assistance when the North makes threats and provocations.
Last week South Korea proposed dialogue with Pyongyang, but the North called the proposal a "crafty trick".
The North has also rejected a request from South Korean business executives to visit the jointly run industrial park in Kaesong to deliver food to their workers.
