French police shot dead a man during an early morning anti-terrorism raid in the eastern city of Strasbourg on Saturday.
Three officers were injured in the shooting after apparently being confronted by the man as they forced their way into his home.
Police sources say the suspect shot at officers first.
A second resident, a woman, was detained.
