SOUNDBITE: Andrew Garfield saying (English):

"No one wants to wear spandex, but Peter has to for many reasons, so yeah, it was a challenge, but of course wearing the suit itself was a dream of mine since I was three years old, so was being able to put it on every day."

Emma Stone, who has been linked romantically with Garfield off-screen, portrays Parker's first love interest in the movie.

SOUNDBITE: Emma Stone saying (English):

"She's involved in helping Peter save the day as Spider-Man of course, and so there are a lot of differences there, she doesn't sit idly by and she doesn't let him being a superhero stop the relationship from continuing or complain about it, she becomes a partner."

Following a media conference, the stars hit the red carpet - where thousands of fans waited to catch a glimpse of the new superhero couple.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" will hit theaters around the world at the end of June and the beginning of July.
