Investigators say all five victims were walking around outside when they were shot.

Community leaders are urging residents to be cautious.

"I think precaution for the people is my main concern. I think people should not let some crazy, deranged person mess up their weekend, but at the same time they ought to be concerned that this person is still loose."

Police say they are searching for a caucasian man driving a white pickup truck that was spotted in the area of three of the shootings.

Federal agents on the case say they are investigating whether the attacks were racially motivated as all five victims were of African American descent.
