Yemeni protesters call for Saleh's removal

In Yemen's capital of Sanaa --- they were united in their message. President Ali Abdullah Saleh should be tried at the International Criminal Court.
SOUNDBITE: PROTESTER MOHAMED HATEM, SAYING (Arabic):
"The purpose of this sit-in today is to send a message that the rebels in Yemen are achieving their revolution and to ask the world to transfer Ali Abdullah Saleh's file to the International Criminal Court. This is the demand of the rebels. We want him to be caught and imprisoned"
Many held banners listing crimes they say Saleh has committed including kidnapping and torture.
Saleh has ruled the country for 33 years. On three occasions, he has agreed to give up power only to change his mind at the last minute. This despite an assassination attempt and nine months of street protests.
Determined to be part of the Arab spring that has seen the fall of many leaders. Yemenis of all ages were out on the streets. This woman showed off her hands -- one painted in the colors of Libya's flag and the other painted in the color of the Yemeni flag. Another protester held up a simple sign reading "Every injustice has an end."
