Tanks, gunfire and protests in Syria

Amateur video out of Syria appears to show military reinforcements entering the city of Sanamein.
The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes amid reports that the government is increasing its pressure across the country.
The sound of gunfire can be heard in video purportedly out of Homs. Homs has become a major flashpoint between troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and army defectors, backing pro-democracy protesters demanding Assad's overthrow.
Footage out of Douma shows a funeral service for two residents.
The United Nations says at least 2,700 people have been killed since the uprisings began in March.
Syrian authorities say 700 police and army officials have been killed during the unrest which they blame on "terrorists" and "mutineers".
Nighttime footage out of Homs shows demonstrators back in the streets.
Assad says foreign powers are using the unrest to divide Syria.
Syria's crackdown protests has sparked international outrage and rebukes from Syria's powerful northern neighbor Turkey, once among Assad's most supportive backers.
