Ways to See Things -or- Identify with Higher Self

In this one I am trying out a new way of seeing - something I haven’t done before. We spend much time and effort in disidentifying, in breaking away from thinking of the self as body, as mind - as anything at all physical. That’s great. It’s needed. We’re not that. Either we’re all of it - every bit - or none. We’re actually both, and that, too is just great. What about, however, choosing to identify with something? Would that be ‘Wrong?’ Would or could it be beneficial? If one looks at things the advita, the Mooji way, one would likely say no - don’t do that. Well, so what. I’m playing with that. What if we choose to identify with Higher Self? What then? I’ve found no teaching of any kind that completely satisfies. And I’m okay with that. I’m just following heart. Where it leads is just fine. Meanwhile, where am I right now? What is calling, is pulling this heart? I’m seeking to sing my own perfect song. Though I’ve got great stretches of that pineed down, already, there’s so much more that’s not yet uncovered. The melody isn’t complete. Yes, I know it’s there, already, somewhere deep within the being. That is not sufficient, though - I want to be able to sing it - to have full access to that.
