A 36-year-old e-hailing driver has been charged in the Magistrate's Court in Jelebu with the murder of his six-year-old son, A. Tishant.  No plea was recorded from M. Arunkumar after the charge was read to him before Magistrate Norshazwani Ishak on Thursday (Aug 7), as the case falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court. 00:21He is accused of committing the offence between 9.02am and 12.55pm on July 23, along kilometre

00:2825 Jalan Rompin in Bahau.

00:30The charge was framed under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

00:35Those convicted can face the death penalty or imprisonment between 30 and 40 years, along

00:40with whipping.

00:41Magistrate Norshazwani set the re-mention for the Seremban High Court on September 10.

00:46Rashida Murni-Adzmi prosecuted, Johor Police will also charge the man with multiple offences,

00:52including domestic violence and assault.

00:54His wife had lodged a report on July 22, claiming he had physically abused her.

00:59He said that he had been involved in 192 years, against the Labrace.
