07:22so that it really glues onto her body, but she's comfortable at the same time.

22:48As you know in fashion, one day you're in and the next day you're out.
22:52There's six of you here and after tonight there will be five.
22:55For this challenge, each of you were to design a look for one of the Project Runway crew members.
23:03This was the Sally Beauty Challenge.
23:05You know, we worked with these crew members for many, many seasons
23:08and we're very excited to see them walk the runway today.
23:12All right, let's say hello to our judges.
23:14First, we have creative director of Brooks Brothers Women and fashion designer, Zach Posen.

23:25And our guest judges for today, the stars of Lifetime's returning hit show, Unreal, the
23:31fashionable Shiri Applebee, and Constance Zimmer.

23:37Also, we have Tim Gunn here for the runway show.
23:40And as you know, he's your mentor and will not be judging your looks.
23:43That said, he will have the Tim Gunn save.
23:45We also have an anonymous runway show, which means we the judges do not know which designer
23:50created which look.
23:51All right, let's start the show.
23:53I feel like I definitely listened to Ashley and I also kept me in there by doing a funky
24:08leather overall.
24:10I feel like I hit all the marks on this challenge and I'm hoping the judges see that as well.
24:27This was not the look that I would have created in my signature collection.
24:32I'm working for a client and a customer and I have to incorporate what they want and feel
24:37versus having the free range to do whatever I want.
24:40I am not proud of the look.
24:54I think this look could have represented me as a designer had I stuck on to the original
25:00fabric and the original design details.
25:03She didn't want to speak less, she didn't want the legs short.
25:06How do I walk with someone in the back?
25:08She looks really sexy, really strong, confident and she looks like she's having a bit of fun
25:20with it.
25:21At the same time there's a bit of fit issues I can see the back is puckering a
25:29bit when she walks back the thing that I'm most concerned about this look is
25:44making her look older and not complementing her body shape she wanted
25:49something that was flowing on the bottom but I just felt like it really lost her
25:52height I almost feel like she's not comfortable and what she's wearing
26:05every time there's a runway it's like a first date we have the butterflies in
26:10your stomach but I'm super excited to see Katie's like rocking it she does this
26:14whole like hair flip I just wish I would have made the jacket shorter
26:20yeah see look she shaved her hair that's why she's
26:23oh

26:48you will be out let's bring out your models who also happen to be our crew members
26:54before we get started I want to thank all of our crew members for rocking the runway so great they
27:06were working at yep Kelly tell us about the look that you made for Ashley and what she wanted so
27:12during me and Ashley's first consultation she expressed to me how she loves her
27:17overalls so I really wanted to like kind of jazz up her overall thing and she
27:22wanted something she could also go out and get drinks in as well Ashley what do
27:25you think about your look I really do love it I wanted something that would be a
27:29little bit more fashion-forward sophisticated since I'm with you lovely people all day and
27:35this is what we came up with she came up with hallelujah Kelly oh thank you I am used to seeing
27:43very over-the-top embellished you go crazy on the details you have plenty of ideas and that's wonderful
27:51but when you can really edit them down you get this your makeover is fantastic thank you I love
27:59you more blond I love your haircuts it's really good and I have to say the clothes too it really
28:05suits you well you look modern you look sophisticated this was actually one of my
28:09favorites on the runway today I like the gold detailing with the eggplant it popped I actually
28:16liked the outfit better without the vest that's a little sexier to read out Candace tell us about
28:21the look you created for Monique well when I met Monique she let me know that she loved blue so I
28:27wanted to do pops of color for her we wanted to have fun and it's gonna be sexy Monique what do you
28:34think about your new look I like it so far something different on me definitely but I enjoy it I do love
28:40your hair and makeup the clothes on the other hand I'm not so sure about it looks a little cheap yeah
28:47well also with the sweetheart neckline it it's a little bit you know red light district you do
28:52are to be nice you should not go out dancing like that the thing I wrote down on my card is where is
28:58she going I know well I know where she wear it comic-con the alleyway of comic-con thank you Edmund tell
29:07us about the look that you created for Desiree so the special request of hers was creating a sexy
29:13raincoat and then we begin to build under it Desiree how do you feel I feel great I feel different and I
29:22feel sexy I do love your hair and makeup I do not love this look I have to say to me it looks like the
29:30jacket is borrowed from someone else like the jacket and the dress to me they clash there's like too many
29:36elements like too many ideas in this outfit I'm not really sure what it's supposed to be I just felt

30:16think it fits with my hair choices and all of that so I love the hair I think that was so bold amazing
30:24looking at Katie before and after it is a huge transformation so all in all I think this was
30:34stellar the vest was actually the best thing I thought that walked down the runway it felt like
30:40the most high-end and the most fashion forward I'm not crazy about the skirt I feel like it's pulling and
30:46the fabric choice is not as sophisticated as it could probably be okay swap now tell us about the look that
30:53you created for Jen well this is what I made in the last two hours yesterday night that overlap cape top
30:59and the skirt obviously is neoprene which has been draped but I think what went wrong was I think I
31:05didn't hear her right because she wanted more playful and flirty and I was going for let's do a makeover
31:12let's make her hot you said let's make her hot yeah and then you created that Jen are you happy with
31:19your makeover are you happy with your new look I'm happy with my hair but I do not feel confident
31:25in this outfit we had a couple fittings and we weren't able to really discuss a lot why not because

31:38know well I've noticed that with every design you have an item of drama be it a cape or it's a drape
31:48it's all surface it's all for you and it's not for her at this point from what I have seen of your
31:55work it's like a one-trick pony this judge is getting very bored cape and ruffles looks like you

32:06own project runway yeah I mean it just doesn't get any better than this Ashley tell us about the look
32:15that you made for Nicole well first of all I loved working with Nicole and she expressed to me that she
32:21wanted me to create something that she could wear to a wedding but also wear to special events so that's
32:27why I wanted to create something that was foreign fitting that had a sweetheart neckline complimenting
32:32the shape of her face and then also a pencil skirt with a peblum Nicole how do you feel about your look
32:38I asked for sleeves I asked for pockets so I was really excited to get that I wasn't so excited about
32:45the colors at first but I've grown to like them Ashley to me this was not the best proportion for your model
32:53today okay the fit on the top is not as hot a body as she has and I find that very unfortunate coming
33:00from you where this is your specialty yes I'm very disappointed this was your moment to knock our socks
33:07off you know with the peplum so many designers think that is hiding something but instead it's drawing focus
33:15okay at your insecurities and to me it just felt uncomfortable I agree personally I don't like to
33:23wear things that cut me too many times because it makes me feel even shorter it wasn't a wow for

36:13and we have Monique wearing Candace oh my gosh literally she's wearing Candace it looks so cheap yeah it is crazy it's traditionally constructed it's not well it doesn't look like it it's not good just the taste level is questionable to me it looked like Candace really tried maybe she tried in the wrong direction but at least that to me felt like a voice a vision and a lot of work
