01:38What is the joint statement by the ASEAN Lawملüssel?
01:40What?
01:41That we open the ASEAN Law μου infinite plot.
01:42That was the one statement by the ASEAN LAI unless the one sheet of ASEAN Lawm reveal.
01:46We look forward to the construction of our KIS of ASEAN Law Ministers.
01:48And the joint statement by the ASEAN Law Ministers.
01:51Whether the joint statement of PEDJP was taken purposefully into our KISC crisis
02:00Franklyister's Relative Ah Ministers weren't as accepted by the ASEAN Law Puisquns,
02:05La peniagaan melalui penggunaan alternate dispute resolution
02:09Daripada hanya masuk ke mahkamah
02:11Jadi, bila negara-negara ASEAN berniaga sesama mereka
02:14Syarikat-syarikat ataupun kerajaan
02:16Bila adanya beberapa pencagahan di segi beberapa perkara
02:20Boleh dipergi pada platform mediasi antarabangsa
02:24Ataupun kibang tara antarabangsa
02:27Itu semua sajek-sajek yang mana harapan saya dalam joint statement ini
02:31Dapat di tanda tangan bersama dengan semua negara-negara ASEAN
02:35in the aspect of the law in the country and the application in the country of Malaysia.
02:42The application of Malaysia is the application of the country.
02:44There are a lot of differences from the difference.
02:47That's the objective of ASEAN Law Foreigner.
02:49The whole purpose of the website is that we want more participants from our legal players,
02:55not only lawyers but students, universities, maybe companies to participate.
03:01This is very interesting because the speakers are consisting of a lot of experts coming in
03:06to speak about the topics that I just presented.
03:09As I mentioned to you with a representative from Wisma, the deputy KSU,
03:15we have to understand, being chair for ASEAN,
03:18Malaysia's objective is to be a leader in many ability to put in change
03:25so that we are able to work together.
03:28Because as you know, one of the issues, I think last week we did the lower house
03:35for cross-border insolvency.
03:37The response is very positive from the business sectors.
03:40And cross-border insolvency must also be applied in other ASEAN countries
03:43because businesses of ASEAN countries tend to be cross-jurisdiction, cross-border.
03:48So these are all the topics that we will be discussing for the ASEAN Law Forum
03:52that I believe a lot of industry players, especially legal advisors or even lawyers,
03:57companies, should partake in this journey.
04:00So that, you know, one of the growth for ASEAN is to,
04:04I think the theme for ASEAN is prosperity, inclusivity and sustainability.
04:09So this is basically what the Law Forum is all about from the legal aspect.
04:12Any other questions in reference to the forum?
04:16Law ministers are coming from the ASEAN countries so far.
04:20So we hope we can get the full quorum.
04:24The Prime Minister will launch the ASEAN Law Forum on the 21st of August.
04:31The Deputy Prime Minister too will do the pre-launch, is it, on the 19th?
04:37Special remarks.
04:38Special remarks, 19th?
04:3920th August.
04:3920th August, yeah.
04:41And there will be a gala dinner on the evening of the 20th.
04:44Sorry? 20th August, yeah.
04:46So we'll do it in the KL Convention Centre.
04:49So this is the contribution of the legal division from the Prime Minister's Department
04:53to the ASEAN Championship, that we are chairing ASEAN Championship this year for Malaysia.
05:00So this is the legal chapter.
05:02This two weeks will be on RMK.
05:05I think you'll see PM's presentation.
05:08He did mention about the 80 over law, law reforms and law amendment that's done.
05:12Out of that 80 over, I think 30 is under the bagian of the legal division.
05:18So we hope with the five-year plan for RMK 13, we can come up with more new laws,
05:24laws to improve the life of most Malaysians.
05:27But then if you look at other ministries, they're also looking into a very,
05:32taking this opportunity to debate on RMK 13.
05:36And I think after that there will be more laws on the third week of,
05:42after the RMK being passed, then there will be more legislative laws to be new laws
05:48or amendments of certain laws.
05:50So I believe that it's quite good because the country is progressing with a lot of new approaches.
05:59Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
