00:00So the title of the sermon is The Truth About Hell, The Truth About Hell.
00:06The reason I'm preaching this sermon is, I guess I don't remember if it was something I heard on TV,
00:13or sometimes I hear stuff on TV, and then sometimes people say stuff, whatever it is.
00:20It just jogs my memory that I have not preached on hell in a while.
00:24I usually do it around Halloween, because that's pretty much the devil's holiday.
00:33But anyway, I just want to give you a couple facts about hell.
00:37Fifty-four times in the King James Bible, the word hell, H-E-L-L, is used. Fifty-four times.
00:45Ninety-two times the word destruction is used in the King James Bible.
00:51And about two-thirds of them have to do with some kind of eternal punishment.
00:56Now some of them doesn't. Some has to do with destruction of cities, like Sodom and Gomorrah and other things.
01:01Eleven times the word damnation is used in the King James Version.
01:07And it always has to do with hell or damnation.
01:10Fourteen times the word brimstone and fire is used.
01:14And other than Sodom and Gomorrah, it's either referring to hell or God's wrath, like in the book of Revelations.
01:21So just to give you an idea, the Bible speaks a lot about hell.
01:25And there's a reason for that.
01:27And I have several points this morning.
01:29The first is that hell was created for the angels.
01:32Hell was created for the angels.
01:34So go to Revelation 12.
01:35Hell was a created place.
01:46God created hell.
01:48Or more specifically, Jesus Christ created hell.
01:52Because he created everything.
01:55We can see that in Colossians 1, Hebrews 1, and John 1.
02:01Hell was created for the angels.
02:04So look at Revelation 12, verse 1.
02:08And there appeared a great wanderer in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet,
02:13and under her head a crown of twelve stars.
02:16Now if you remember when we went through the book of Revelations,
02:18it's probably one of the most difficult chapters in Revelations because a lot of it is so symbolic.
02:24Especially the first verse.
02:26You know, I think it has to do with talking about God creating everything.
02:30That he created the stars and that, you know, there's stars and constellations that are in shapes of people and stuff.
02:38That's what I believe.
02:40But the next verse is,
02:42And she being with child cried, travailing in birth and pain to be delivered.
02:47So you can go back to Genesis 3, 16.
02:49This is where man is created, or Mary, I'm sorry, not Mary.
02:54A lot of people believe this has to do with Mary.
02:56I do not.
02:56I believe it has to do with Eve, who is the mother of all living things,
03:01where she is having the first child.
03:05And there appeared another wonder in heaven.
03:08And behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads,
03:14and his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven,
03:18and did cast them to the earth.
03:20And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered to devour her child as soon as it was born.
03:27So if you understand the correlation,
03:29when God created everything,
03:33He created what?
03:34He created angels.
03:35He created angels.
03:36Angels are created beings.
03:38They're never in the realm the same as Jesus or God.
03:43They're never in the same.
03:44They're actually messengers.
03:46And we see and we understand that Satan himself, Lucifer,
03:51was right below God.
03:54He was, you know, his number one angel.
03:57But because he wanted to be God,
03:59you can see that in Isaiah where he says he wanted to be God,
04:02God kicked him out of heaven,
04:04and he took a third part of the angels with him,
04:07which we call now demons or devils.
04:10That's why these demonic people,
04:12these Illuminati people,
04:13these whatever,
04:14they like the number 33,
04:16because it's talking about a 33.
04:18If you took a third,
04:19that's about 33 and a third.
04:21That's why they love that number.
04:23So when you see that number,
04:24just start wondering.
04:25But anyway,
04:25that's neither here nor there.
04:27Go to 2 Peter 2.
04:302 Peter chapter 2.
04:34So we know that hell is a created place.
04:38But it's created for the angels.
04:41And in 2 Peter,
04:43you'll see that.
04:48Now 2 Peter 2 and Jude are parallel passages.
04:52And they're going to sound very similar.
04:54That's why.
04:55So 2 Peter 2 verse 1.
04:58But there are false prophets also among the people,
05:01even as there shall be false teachers among you,
05:04who privily,
05:05which means privately,
05:06shall bring indomitable heresies,
05:09even denying the Lord that bought them,
05:11and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
05:14So it's talking about there's preachers,
05:16teachers,
05:17whatever,
05:18that will even deny the Lord that bought them.
05:21And you know,
05:21basically if you're saying that you've got to repent of your sins
05:24or you've got to do something else
05:25to be saved,
05:27you're basically denying the Lord.
05:30And what he's saying is that
05:31there's going to be false,
05:32there's going to be swift destruction.
05:35And many shall follow their pernicious ways
05:37by reason,
05:38of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
05:41And through covetousness
05:43shall they with feigned words
05:45make merchandise of you
05:47whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not,
05:50and their damnation slumbereth not.
05:53For if God spared not the angels that sinned,
05:56but cast them down to hell
05:58and delivered them into chains of darkness
06:00to be reserved unto judgment.
06:03So he's saying that,
06:05you know,
06:05don't worry about these false preachers,
06:07false teachers,
06:08because just like the angels
06:10will one day sit in hell,
06:12that he has created hell for them,
06:14that they will also
06:17go to Jude 1 verse 6.
06:19There's only one chapter in Jude.
06:24Describes a little bit better
06:25in the book of Jude.
06:30In my opinion.
06:33Jude 1 verse 3.
06:36Beloved,
06:37when I came,
06:39when I gave all diligence
06:40to write unto you
06:41of the common salvation.
06:43I like that word common salvation.
06:45Why?
06:46Because everybody
06:47gets salvation the same way
06:49through Jesus Christ.
06:50It's common.
06:51It means that it is,
06:53not that it's common
06:54that people know about it,
06:55but it's common
06:56that it's universal,
06:58I guess would be a better word.
07:00The Jew
07:00has to believe on Jesus.
07:02The Mormon
07:03has to believe on Jesus.
07:04The Hindu
07:05has to believe on Jesus.
07:07And then when they do that,
07:08they're not a Jew anymore.
07:10They're not a Hindu anymore.
07:11They're not a Muslim anymore.
07:12They're not a whatever
07:14because they have changed
07:16their mind.
07:17That's where the repentance is.
07:19It was needful for me
07:19to write unto you
07:20and exhort you
07:22that you should earnestly
07:23contend for the faith
07:26which was once delivered
07:27unto the saints.
07:28For there are certain men,
07:29talking about the same thing
07:30as in 2 Peter,
07:31crept and unawares,
07:33who were before of old
07:35ordained to this condemnation,
07:36ungodly men,
07:38turning the grace of our God
07:39into lasciviousness
07:40and denying the only Lord God
07:43or Lord Jesus Christ.
07:45So just like in 2 Peter,
07:47there's men who would deny
07:48that Jesus died for their sins.
07:51They would deny
07:51that it's good enough
07:53for salvation,
07:54that Jesus did it all.
07:56And they're denying the Lord
07:57when they say otherwise.
07:59Oh, therefore,
07:59put you in remembrance,
08:01though you once knew this,
08:03how that the Lord,
08:03having saved the people
08:05out of the land of Egypt,
08:06afterward destroyed them
08:07that believeth not.
08:09So he said,
08:09after he saved them physically
08:12out of being under bondage
08:14in Egypt,
08:15he destroyed them,
08:16the ones that believed not.
08:17If you remember,
08:19he opened up the earth
08:20and about 250 people
08:22fell into the earth
08:23straight down to hell.
08:25If you remember that,
08:27that's one of the situations.
08:28We see other situations
08:29where they're bit
08:30by a fiery serpent.
08:31Some looked on the staff
08:33and they believed,
08:34some of them didn't,
08:35and they died.
08:36And the angels,
08:37which kept not their first estate,
08:39so what's their first estate?
08:41The first estate
08:42was to stay with the Lord
08:43and not be taken away by Satan.
08:46That's their first estate.
08:48But left their own habitation.
08:51He has reserved
08:53an everlasting change
08:55under darkness
08:56unto the judgment
08:57of the great day.
08:58So hell was never created
09:00for humans.
09:01It was always created
09:02for Satan.
09:03But,
09:04because,
09:05if you remember,
09:06Adam,
09:06he sinned
09:07and Eve sinned,
09:08then,
09:09that's what brought that apart.
09:11When Adam sinned,
09:14then he spiritually died.
09:15Then he deserved hell
09:17for his sins.
09:18Number two is,
09:19hell is in the center
09:20of the earth.
09:21Go to Ezekiel 31.
09:23Now the funny thing is,
09:24you can ask
09:25any
09:26scientist,
09:28and they'll tell you
09:29that inside the middle
09:30of the earth
09:31is what?
09:33Magma.
09:34You know,
09:34you've seen these,
09:36these volcanoes lately
09:40in Hawaii
09:41and other places.
09:42When you see those things,
09:44that's magma
09:45or liquid fire
09:46basically coming out
09:47of the earth,
09:48and that's what
09:49the earth is like.
09:50If you've ever taken
09:52a tennis ball,
09:53I've taken a tennis ball
09:54and it's been busted open.
09:55I think my dog
09:56broke into it.
09:57It's got like a,
09:58you know,
09:59the furs on the outside
10:00and then on the inside,
10:02the very inside
10:03is like a rubber ball
10:05that's either got
10:05some kind of gel
10:06inside of it
10:07or air.
10:08Well,
10:09that's what the earth
10:10is like.
10:10But inside the center core
10:12of the earth
10:13is fire
10:14and magma
10:16and that's where
10:16hell is.
10:19Ezekiel 31
10:20verse 15.
10:24Thus said the Lord God
10:28in the day
10:28when he went down
10:30to the grave
10:31I caused a mourning.
10:33I covered the deep
10:34for him
10:34and restrained
10:35the floods thereof
10:36and the great waters
10:37were stayed
10:38and I caused Lebanon
10:39to mourn for him
10:40and all the trees
10:41of the field
10:42fainted for him.
10:43I made the nations
10:44to shake at the sound
10:45of his fall
10:46and when I cast them
10:47down to hell
10:48with them
10:49they descended
10:50into the pit
10:51and the trees
10:52of Eden
10:52the choice
10:53and the best
10:54of Lebanon
10:55and all that
10:56drink water
10:57shall be comforted
10:58in the nether parts
11:00of the earth
11:01and they also
11:02went down
11:03into hell
11:04with them
11:05unto them
11:07that be slain
11:07with the sword
11:08and they that were
11:09with his arm
11:10that dwelt under
11:12the shadow
11:12in the midst
11:13of the heathen.
11:13So we constantly
11:15see people
11:16going down
11:17to hell
11:18that's one
11:19good example
11:20the nether parts
11:22you know
11:23you've heard of people
11:24called the nether regions
11:25that's another word
11:27for hell
11:27go to Isaiah 14
11:29go on your Bible
11:31to the left
11:31to the book
11:32of Isaiah
11:3314
11:34we know that
11:42the earth
11:42is round
11:43there's verses
11:45in the Bible
11:45in Isaiah
11:46and Job
11:48that talks about
11:49the earth
11:49being round
11:50there's people
11:50out there
11:51that are idiots
11:51that actually
11:52believe that
11:52we're on a
11:53flat disc
11:53that's just
11:54retarded
11:55it talks about
11:57the circle
11:58of the earth
11:59in the Bible
11:59and even
12:00people have seen
12:02where they can
12:03watch a ship
12:04and it just
12:04goes down
12:05you can only
12:06you can even
12:06figure out
12:07that the sun
12:08goes around
12:09the earth
12:09you know
12:10I was watching
12:10a movie
12:10I think it was
12:11yesterday
12:12where it's talking
12:13about in Alaska
12:14there's 18 hours
12:15to 20 hours
12:16of daylight
12:17at one time
12:18why because
12:19it's at the top
12:20of the axis
12:21Alaska is
12:22so it has more
12:23sunlight
12:23as its earth
12:24rotates
12:25and as the sun
12:26goes
12:26as the earth
12:27goes around
12:28the sun
12:28and the earth
12:29rotates
12:29so eventually
12:31there's going to be
12:31more daylight
12:32than 12 hours
12:33and there's going
12:34to be more darkness
12:35in 12 hours
12:36that just shows you
12:37that the earth
12:38rotates
12:38but anyway
12:39these people
12:40just don't
12:40understand life
12:42but look at
12:43Isaiah 14
12:43so the same people
12:44that tell you
12:45that the earth
12:46has magma
12:48and maybe the same
12:49people telling you
12:50it's flat
12:50I don't know
12:51don't really care
12:51verse 9
12:53in Isaiah 14
12:54hail from beneath
12:55so again
12:56we're talking about
12:57beneath
12:57beneath
12:58where are your feet
12:59is moved
12:59for thee
13:01to meet thee
13:01at the coming
13:02is stirred up
13:04the dead
13:04for thee
13:05even all the
13:06chief ones
13:06of the earth
13:07it has raised up
13:08from their thrones
13:09all the kings
13:09of the nations
13:10so again
13:11we see that
13:11hail is beneath
13:12go to Job 11
13:13so if you
13:15open your bible
13:16to the middle
13:16you probably
13:17come to Psalms
13:18Job is one book
13:19to the left
13:20it's the first book
13:22of the
13:23poetic book
13:25Job 11
13:27it may look like
13:29Job
13:29but it's Job

14:02to his friends

14:05different things
14:06and he's saying
14:06that heaven
14:07is high
14:08which it is
14:09and hell
14:10is deep
14:11the third point
14:13is hell
14:14is eternal
14:14or everlasting
14:15these two words
14:16are synonymous
14:18we know that
14:18we have everlasting
14:19life
14:20or we have
14:20eternal life
14:21if we put our
14:22trust on the
14:22Lord Jesus Christ
14:23well not only
14:24is heaven
14:25eternal
14:26or everlasting
14:28also hell
14:30is eternal
14:31or everlasting
14:32you have people
14:33like the Jehovah
14:34false witness
14:35they believe
14:35that people
14:36are punished
14:38for their sins
14:39for a time being
14:40and then they get
14:41some kind of reprieve
14:42and come out of hell
14:43I'm going to prove
14:43that to you
14:44that's wrong
14:45it's eternal
14:45once you're there
14:46you're always there
14:47go to Daniel 12
14:48Daniel chapter 12
14:52once somebody's in hell
14:55they're always there
14:56I'll tell you a little story
14:57I had an uncle of mine
14:58he was a Catholic
14:59and he shot
15:01and killed himself
15:02which you know
15:03that the Catholic
15:03believe what
15:04that the
15:05damnable heresy
15:08or the
15:08damnable
15:09I'm sorry
15:10unpardonable sin
15:12that you can
15:13not ever be
15:13forgiven of
15:14is suicide
15:15and so
15:17when my
15:18when my uncle
15:20did that
15:21his wife
15:22of course
15:23they're Catholic
15:23paid
15:24the priest
15:25like $200
15:26$300
15:27I don't remember
15:28the amount
15:28to pray him
15:29out of hell
15:30well that didn't work
15:32I guess the priest
15:33he just went
15:34to the state joint
15:35or something
15:35off of their money
15:35I don't know
15:36what he's doing
15:36with the money
15:37but it doesn't
15:38work that way

15:43on the Lord Jesus Christ
15:44which most Catholics
15:45believe that Jesus died
15:47was crucified
15:48but they believe
15:48that their works
15:49is what gets them
15:50into heaven
15:50if he believe that
15:51he's burning in hell
15:52there's nothing we can do
15:53about that
15:53but it is eternal
15:55and everlasting
15:56the Jews believe
15:58also that
15:59there's a place
16:00called Gehenna
16:01or whatever
16:01they don't use
16:02the word hell
16:03they say that
16:04bad people
16:05go there
16:06and that once
16:07they've taken
16:08their punishment
16:09then they go
16:10somewhere else
16:11false folks
16:12false

17:02talking about
17:03this is talking about
17:04the second resurrection
17:06because at the second
17:07resurrection
17:07because there's a
17:09first resurrection
17:09when Jesus comes
17:10in the cloud
17:11at his second coming
17:12that is the first
17:13resurrection
17:14but then there's
17:15a point in time
17:16where the heaven
17:18and the earth
17:19are destroyed
17:20and there's a
17:20second resurrection
17:21the people in the grave
17:23their bodies are here
17:24and their bodies
17:26are going to have
17:26to meet their soul
17:27and I'll show you
17:28to that in a minute
17:29go to Matthew 18

17:35so Daniel is telling them
17:40about a time
17:41of where people
17:42will awaken
17:43to everlasting damnation
17:45or shame
17:46and everlasting life
17:51Matthew 18

17:57and he said
18:00it's talking about Jesus
18:01verily verily I say unto you
18:03except ye be converted
18:04wait a minute
18:05let's go up to verse 1
18:06at the same time
18:07came to the disciples
18:08unto Jesus
18:08saying who is the greatest
18:09in the kingdom of heaven
18:10and Jesus called a little child
18:12unto him
18:13and set him
18:14in the midst of them
18:15verily verily I say unto you
18:17except ye be converted
18:18and become
18:19as little children
18:21you shall not
18:23enter into the kingdom
18:23of heaven
18:24now what does that mean
18:26does that mean
18:27that we have to go
18:28backwards in time
18:29and become a child
18:30what that means is
18:31is that small children
18:33have to depend
18:34on somebody else
18:35for everything
18:36they can't change
18:37their own diapers
18:38they can't feed themselves
18:39they can't fix
18:40their own bottle
18:41they have to depend
18:42on somebody else
18:44and as children
18:44get older
18:45that dependence
18:46has gone away
18:47because they depend
18:48on themselves
18:49but a small child
18:51cannot do that
18:52they have to depend
18:53on mama or daddy
18:54or somebody
18:55to take care of them
18:56and Jesus has given
18:57that example
18:58if you think
18:59you're doing something
19:00to get yourself
19:00into heaven
19:01you're not going
19:02to make it
19:02that we have to depend
19:05on somebody else
19:06and that somebody else
19:07is the Lord Jesus Christ
19:08putting our trust
19:09in what he did
19:10and that's what
19:11Jesus is telling him
19:12whosoever there
19:13shall humble himself
19:14as this little child
19:16so the humble man says
19:17I'm not worthy
19:19to go to heaven
19:19I'm just a dirty
19:20rotten filthy sinner
19:21I have to trust
19:22in somebody else
19:23I can't get myself there
19:25the prideful person says
19:26hey I'm pretty good
19:28I'm not that bad
19:28of a person
19:29you know I've not
19:30ever murdered anybody
19:31I've never raped anybody
19:32I've never killed anybody
19:33I'm not that bad
19:34of a person
19:34I'm not as bad
19:35as this person there
19:35that's where pride
19:37comes in
19:37humbleness says
19:39I'm bad
19:40I'm a sinner
19:41I deserve to go
19:42to hell for my sins
19:43I need somebody else
19:45to save me
19:45and that's the Lord
19:46Jesus Christ
19:47the same is the greatest
19:48in the kingdom of heaven
19:49and whosoever shall
19:51receive one such
19:52little child
19:53in my name
19:53receiveth me
19:54but whosoever
19:55shall offend
19:56one of these little ones
19:59which believes in me
20:01it were better for him
20:02that a millstone
20:03were hanged
20:04about his neck
20:05and that they were
20:06drowned in the depth
20:07of the sea
20:08woe unto the world
20:09because of offenses
20:10for it must needs be
20:12that offenses come
20:13but woe to that man
20:15by whom the offense
20:16cometh
20:17what is he saying
20:18he's saying
20:18look
20:19if you deceive
20:21a small child
20:22or deceive somebody
20:24and say
20:24well it's not good enough
20:25to believe on Jesus
20:26you gotta do X Y Z
20:28you gotta be baptized
20:28you gotta join the church
20:29you gotta repent
20:30of your sins
20:31he's saying
20:32it'd be better
20:32for you to have
20:33a stone
20:34around your neck
20:35and drown
20:35and die
20:36that's what he's saying
20:37to offend
20:39one of these little ones
20:40because he's saying
20:42children are young
20:44and they
20:44trust what you say
20:47you know
20:47a small child
20:48will trust you
20:49you can tell them
20:49about Santa Claus
20:50or whatever
20:51and they'll believe
20:52whatever
20:52they don't even think
20:53about what really happens
20:55they're small enough
20:56to believe in anything
20:57so if you lie to them
21:00and tell them
21:00hey
21:01it's not good enough
21:02to believe on Jesus
21:03you gotta be a good person
21:04you are offending them
21:06and he said
21:06it's better for you to die
21:08and he's saying
21:10look
21:10the world's gonna have offenses
21:12but he's saying
21:13woe to that man
21:14that offense may come us
21:16so the person that tells them
21:18whether it be
21:19look your parents
21:20may have good plans for you
21:22and good ideas
21:23about how to live your life
21:24but if your idea
21:25their idea about salvation
21:27is not totally believing
21:29on the Lord Jesus Christ
21:30and doing something else
21:31it'd be better for them
21:32to fall in the river
21:33and die
21:34is what Jesus is saying
21:35out of his own mouth
21:36you know
21:36you may not like that
21:37but it's what he's saying
21:38and then he says
21:39wherefore
21:40if thy hand or foot
21:42offend thee
21:43cut them off
21:44and cast them from thee
21:45it is better for thee
21:46to enter into the life
21:47halt or maimed
21:48rather than having
21:49two hands or two feet
21:51to be cast into
21:51everlasting fire
21:53and if thine eye
21:54offend thee
21:54pluck it out
21:55and cast it from thee
21:56it is better for thee
21:57to enter into life
21:58with one eye
21:59rather than having
21:59two eyes
22:00to be cast into hell fire
22:01he's saying
22:03look
22:03it would be better
22:05if there's anything
22:06in your life
22:07whatever it is
22:08you got a hand
22:09he's giving an example
22:10of a physical thing
22:11if your hand
22:11offends you
22:12and that hand
22:13is keeping you
22:13from going into heaven
22:14cut it off
22:15if that eyeball
22:17is keeping you
22:17from going into heaven
22:18cut it off
22:19so anything in our life
22:20whatever it is
22:21he's saying
22:22get it out of your life
22:23because hell
22:24is so bad
22:25of a place
22:25it would be better
22:26for you to go
22:27into heaven
22:28with one eyeball
22:29or one hand
22:30that's what he's saying
22:31it is better
22:32for that
22:33go to

31:22created different
31:23creatures

31:25heard somebody

31:26death as
31:27being a
31:27worm fest

31:29it's talking
31:29about is
31:30when your
31:31body's in the
31:31ground there's
31:32different animals
31:33and bugs and
31:33stuff that
31:34decompose
31:35bodies human
31:36bodies worms
31:38do it flies
31:40do it that's
31:41where you know
31:42maggots come
31:42from not trying
31:43to discuss you
31:44before lunch but
31:45that's what
31:45happens if you
31:46set out a dead
31:48animal you got
31:48some animals that
31:49will come out
31:50there scavengers
31:51vultures but then
31:52after they're done
31:53ants and worms and
31:54other creatures will
31:55take that other
31:56parts of the body
31:57and decompose it
31:59and the bible's

33:00they grab a tree

33:02burn the tree up
33:03they burn people
33:04up people are
33:05literally mummified
33:07when that stuff
33:07hits them and
33:08that's why people
33:09say see this can't
33:10be true hell can't
33:12be true because
33:13once a body burns
33:14it will be mummified
33:16in that and turn
33:17into it folks don't
33:18doubt the bible

33:21everything if he
33:22can create a man
33:24from nothing from
33:25the dust in the
33:25earth and blow in
33:26it do you not
33:27think he can
33:28create some kind
33:29of hell place
33:31that the fire
33:32never stops burning

33:36the burning bush
33:38God Jesus was in
33:40that middle of that
33:41burning bush was he

35:24judgment

35:25are angry all
35:26the time
35:26Jesus was angry
35:27I've showed you
35:28that before
35:28they take out
35:29without a cause
35:30they basically
35:31make Jesus a
35:32sinner
35:32because Jesus
35:33when the money
35:34changers were in
35:35there and he
35:36run them out
35:36with a whip
35:37he was angry
35:38there's no doubt
35:39about it
35:40so if Jesus
35:41if it's a sin
35:42for Jesus to be
35:43angry with his
35:44brother
35:45and not
35:46have without
35:47a cause
35:48then he's a
35:49sinner
35:49and we're all
35:50going to hell
35:51the other thing
35:52is I've heard
35:52before that people
35:53say yeah if you
35:54call somebody a
35:55fool you're going
35:57to hell
35:57well the thing
35:58that doesn't make
35:59any sense
35:59because if you
36:00go and we're
36:01not going to go
36:01there but if you
36:02go to chapter 23
36:03of Matthew which
36:04is where Jesus
36:04preaches the
36:05hardest to the
36:06Jews the scribes
36:07and the Pharisees
36:08he tells them
36:09he calls them
36:10fool about nine
36:11times
36:12so that would
36:13again make
36:13Jesus a sinner
36:14but what this
36:15verse is really
36:16saying is that
36:17you don't think
36:19that you have to
36:19be a murderer
36:20or stealer
36:23or anything like
36:23that the Bible
36:24is basically
36:24saying if you've
36:25ever done any
36:26sin you're in
36:27danger of the
36:28judgment which is
36:29hell which means
36:30that you don't
36:31have to be that
36:32bad of a person
36:32all you have to
36:33do is sin one
36:34time and you
36:35deserve hell for
36:36your sins
36:36that's what it's
36:37saying that's
36:38nothing to do
36:39with about calling
36:39people names I
36:40don't even know
36:40what raka means
36:41but I do
36:43know that you
36:44can call somebody
36:45a fool and you
36:46won't have to go
36:47to hell because
36:48once you believe
36:49on Jesus all your
36:50sins are washed
36:50away so that
36:53doesn't make any
36:53sense I don't know
36:54where people get
36:55that from it's
36:55just a misinterpretation
36:57of the Bible

38:56the wheat to take
38:57the tares the stuff
38:59that's no good then

39:01good stuff and grind
39:03it in a millstone to
39:04make flour that's the
39:06idea if you had the
39:07the chaff it's no
39:10good that's what he's
39:11talking about I don't
39:14understand it completely
39:15but I know there's good
39:16part of wheat and
39:17there's a bad part of
39:17wheat maybe it's the
39:18seeds they're supposed
39:19to grind I don't know
39:19but they're taking it
39:21and separating it and
39:22the bad stuff they're
39:23putting in the fire that
39:24might be the stalks and
39:26then the little seeds is
39:27what it is I don't know
39:28I've never been a wheat
39:30farmer so I don't
39:30understand but I will
39:32tell you go down to
39:33verse 47 in the same
39:37chapter we'll see
39:38another idea and then
39:40the kingdom of heaven
39:41is likened to a net it
39:42was cast into the sea
39:43and gathered of every
39:44kind so they didn't
39:45have fishing poles what
39:46they had was they had
39:47a net and they would
39:48throw out the net and
39:49whatever you pulled up
39:50in the net whether it
39:51be an old boot or
39:52whatever it might be
39:54trash or fish that you
39:57couldn't eat you had to
39:58do what you had to do
39:59something with it you
40:00had to separate the bad
40:01from the good and
40:03which was it was full
40:04then drew to the shore
40:05and sat down and
40:06gathered the good and
40:06the vessels and cast the

40:09be of the same at the
40:10end of the world that

40:13wicked from among the

40:24net and scoop everybody

40:30that has nothing to
40:31do with your goodness
40:32the good or the
40:34righteous through Jesus
40:35Christ the bad are the
40:37ones who did not
40:37accept Jesus don't let

40:40good people go to
40:41heaven bad people go to

41:44they regard not the work of
41:45the Lord neither consider the
41:47operation of his hands
41:48therefore my people are gone
41:50into captivity because they
41:52have no knowledge and their
41:54honorable men are famished
41:55and their multitude dried up
41:57with thirst therefore hell
42:00hath enlarged herself and
42:02opened her mouth without
42:03measure and the glory in
42:05their multitude and their
42:07pomp that rejoices shall
42:09descend into it so the
42:11Bible is saying that because
42:13people are more wicked that
42:15hell has enlarged herself
42:17made herself larger to allow
42:19those people to come into it
42:21go to Proverbs 27 in the left
42:25of your Bible to Proverbs
42:26chapter 27
42:28Proverbs 27 verse 20
42:42hell and destruction are never
42:45full so the eyes of man are
42:48never satisfied so the Bible is
42:50given a correlation of the eyes
42:53of man are never satisfied
42:54people say hey if I only get
42:56this I'll be satisfied if I
42:57only get this truck this car
42:59this whatever this house I'll be
43:01satisfied the Bible saying the
43:02eyes of man are never satisfied
43:04just like hell and destruction
43:07are never full that's the
43:08correlation the last point is
43:10there's no leaving hell go to
43:12Luke 16 once you're there you're
43:14there you're no leaving there's
43:18there's no somebody praying you
43:19out of hell praying you out of
43:20the grave no such thing the best
43:24example of hell to me is Luke 16
43:27it's not a parable I've heard
43:30people say it's a parable but the
43:32thing about a parable is that when
43:34God when Jesus is using parables to
43:37explain stuff he never uses people's
43:40names and here we see that the saved
43:43man in this his name is being used the
43:47unsaved is not Luke 16 verse 19
43:52there's a certain rich man which was
43:54clothed in purple and fine linen and
43:56fared sumptuously every day so you
43:59got one guy he's rich he's got money
44:01he doesn't have any need of anything
44:03and that's why God what Jesus said
44:06that it's easier for a camel to go to
44:08the eye of a needle than a rich man
44:10into heaven because a rich person
44:12thinks oh well I got all these things
44:15because of myself I don't need
44:18anything I don't need Jesus I've got
44:20all these things life is good for me
44:22I'm living a great life I've got a good
44:24job I don't have to worry about money
44:26or food or anything like that and he's
44:28not worried about his eternal security
44:31and there's a certain beggar named
44:33Lazarus this is not the Lazarus that
44:35Jesus raised from the dead this is a
44:38different Lazarus Lazarus was
44:39obviously a very popular name which was
44:43laid at his at the gate full of sores
44:46and desired to be fed with the crumbs
44:48which fell at the rich man's table
44:49moreover the dogs came and licked his
44:51sores so he's begging he's not able to
44:54work because he probably has leprosy or
44:57some type of disease nobody wants to be
44:59around him and because he's not able to
45:01work he's standing sitting at the gates
45:03of the city begging for food just crumbs
45:07the food whatever they'll give him and
45:10he's the dogs are licking his the
45:12sores that he has to give him relief
45:14and it came to pass that the beggar
45:17died Lazarus that's his name and was
45:20carried by the angels in Abraham's
45:22bosom the rich man also died and was
45:25buried now I've showed you this before
45:27and people like to take this verse and
45:29say Abraham's bosom is a different part
45:31of heaven or some other kind of place
45:33it's not folks what it's saying is that
45:36Abraham's bosom is Abraham's in heaven
45:38and he's like got his arm around
45:40Lazarus the beggar and this is he's in
45:42his bosom just like you'll see when
45:45John when he was at the Lord's Supper he
45:47was in the bosom of Jesus means he was
45:49laying on Jesus's breast that's what it
45:51means it's not a location it's a
45:53location on Abraham's body the rich man
45:58also died and was buried so you got two
46:00people you got the beggar Lazarus he dies
46:02and at the same time the rich man dies
46:04both of them are buried the rich man's
46:06buried because he has money but it
46:08doesn't say that Lazarus is buried and
46:11in hell he lift his eyes I'm about the
46:13rich man so immediately after the rich
46:16man dies he's in hell being in torment
46:19so immediately right off the bat we see
46:22that when the rich man dies he had all
46:24great things on earth but when he dies
46:26he's in hell and he's in torment
46:28immediately there's no pause whatsoever
46:31and seeing Abraham will fall off and
46:35Lazarus in his bosom so he can see
46:37Lazarus and Abraham in heaven from hell
46:41where he's at and he cried and said
46:43father Abraham have mercy on me and send
46:47Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his
46:49finger in water and cool my tongue for I
46:53am tormented in this flame so he's saying
46:57I just need a just send Lazarus down here
47:01just to take the tip of his finger and
47:03put it in the water you know you hear
47:04people say this saying that people in
47:06hell need ice water well this is where
47:09this comes from is that they would want
47:11just a little bit of water just to cool
47:13their tongue because they're tormented
47:15but Abraham said son remember that thou in
47:17thy lifetime receiveth thy good things and
47:20likewise Lazarus evil things is now is
47:23comforted and thou art tormented he said
47:25beside all this between us and you there's
47:28a great gulf figs so that they would
47:30pass from thence to you cannot neither
47:32can they pass to us that would come from
47:36thence he's saying there's a gulf there's
47:38an area between me and you and we're
47:40standing on it it's called earth he said
47:43we can't go from heaven to hell you
47:45can't pass between heaven and hell people
47:47in heaven can't go to hell people in
47:49hell can't go to heaven that's why I'm
47:50not worried about this sermon it doesn't
47:52scare me one bit because I know I'm
47:54never going to be there but what he's
47:56also saying is is that don't you
47:59remember you go you got the great
48:01things in life but now you're being
48:03tormented but Lazarus the beggar he was
48:07being tormented on this life in his life
48:10but in now in this life he's okay he's
48:12good because he's in heaven
48:14then he said I pray thee therefore father
48:19that thou would have seen him to my
48:21father's house for have five brethren
48:23that he may testify unto them lest they
48:26also come into this place of torment
48:29Abraham said unto him they have Moses and
48:32the prophets let them hear them he said
48:34nay father Abraham but if one went unto
48:37them from the dead they will repent and
48:40he said unto him if they hear not Moses and
48:43the prophets neither will they be persuaded
48:45though one rose from the dead he's saying
48:48look I've got five brothers on earth and
48:52they're all going to hell and I don't want
48:54them to come here it's such a bad place
48:56just send Lazarus to them back from the
48:59dead to preach the gospel to them so they
49:02won't have to spend time here you know
49:04what Abraham says no they've had the
49:08prophets they've had all these other
49:09people to tell them from Genesis 1 and
49:12nobody would listen to him and and he
49:15said even though if I brought him to the
49:17dead you know it ain't gonna happen
49:20they will not repent not repent of their
49:23sins change your mind about salvation
49:26that's what repent means don't try to
49:28twist this the word repent I hate the
49:30word repent because people hear that
49:33word and they think oh I got to quit
49:34sleeping with my girlfriend I got to
49:35quit drinking I got to quit this I got
49:37to quit no no no no repent means to
49:39change what you think is getting you into
49:41heaven by being a good person baptism
49:42whatever and believe that it's only
49:45through Jesus that's repentance so I
49:47want to give you a couple things but
49:49this is one of the greatest ones that
49:51it talks about the one thing I hear
49:53people say I remember some rock star
49:56one time he said I know I'm going to
49:57hell he said we're gonna have a party
49:59in hell ain't no party in hell there's
50:01no ruling and reigning in hell there's no
50:04party there's no you know even this guy
50:06says just send them I don't want my
50:08brothers to go here such a bad place
50:10the Bible talks about it being such a
50:12bad place to be better for you to leave
50:14with one hand and one eye than for you
50:16to go to hell for anything to deceive you
50:19into hell whatever it is that's keeping
50:21you from going to heaven get it out of
50:23your life that's what he's talking about
50:26it's a bad place where there's worms
50:28eating you all the time fires burning
50:31you he's saying just let him touch the
50:33tip of my tongue so I don't have to
50:35endure this flame all these things it's
50:38a bad place and the only way you keep
50:41from going there is one way and Jesus
50:44said I'm the way the truth and the life
50:45and if you don't believe on that and you
50:48think that you got to do something else
50:49to being for salvation you will end up
50:52there period again people are not scared
50:56of death or not worried about this I'm
51:00not scared of death I'm not worried about
51:03going to hell there's there's one thing
51:05I don't have to worry about I don't
51:07have to sit down and think about is
51:08where I'm going to spend eternity
51:09because I know when I was a young boy
51:11that was already decided when I put my
51:13trust on the Lord Jesus Christ and I
51:15said Lord I believe that you died on the
51:18cross and buried and rose three days
51:20later and I'm trusting nothing in that
51:21but that to get me to heaven and that I
51:25can never lose that salvation and the
51:28moment that happened the Holy Spirit
51:29entered into me and that was the end of
51:31it and this is what I want you to
51:33understand that hell is a bad place
51:35Jesus preaches more about hell than he
51:37does heaven because he wants us 54
51:40times the word hell is used why because
51:42God's warning us boom boom boom this is
51:45bad you don't want to go there and when
51:47God repeats something and repeats something
51:48and repeats something it's worth us
