00:00Alright, so we're still in 1 Corinthians, we're in 1 Corinthians 6, 1 Corinthians chapter 6.
00:101 Corinthians 6 verse 1, dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust and not before the saints?
00:20So he's daring them. He says, I dare you to go to the courthouse, to the lawyers, instead of going before the other saints.
00:29He's talking about some of the things we bring before the courts is just dumb.
00:35That's basically what he's saying. And we're going to see what he says later on about it.
00:39Do you not know that the saint shall judge the world, and if the world shall be judged by you, are you worthy to judge the smallest matters?
00:51He's saying, look, if you're going to be judging the world one day, and we are, the Bible clearly says that one day we as Christians will judge the world.
00:59When we go, when there's a new heaven, new earth, the Lord Jesus Christ is going to assign us to judge this or judge that.
01:08He told the 12 disciples, they'll be judging the 12 tribes of Israel.
01:12So we will have something that will be over. Some of us, no matter what we do on this earth, may have lots of stuff to be over.
01:21And then some of us that don't do much for the kingdom of God, we'll have little to do.
01:26But what he's saying is, are you not worthy? Are you not good enough to judge the smallest matters between you and another Christian?
01:33And that's what he's asking. Know you not that we shall judge angels?
01:37So not only are we going to judge the world, but we're going to judge angels.
01:43How much more things that pertain to this life?
01:45Now, every time I've read this, and I've read it many times, more always thinking, when you think of the word judge,
01:54you think of somebody telling something, like a judge saying, hey, you did wrong.
01:58I don't believe that's what it's talking about, because I don't believe angels are doing something wrong.
02:03But I do believe what it's talking about is that we will have authority over the angels.
02:09Let me prove that to you. Keep your finger there and go to Hebrews 1.
02:13Hebrews chapter 1.
02:16So I don't believe it's the angels are doing something wrong.
02:21Some kind of sin or something.
02:23But I do believe that it has to do with we will have authority over the angels.
02:28And right now, we do not. We don't have authority.
02:31In fact, look at Hebrews 1 verse 3.
02:36Who being the brightness of his glory.
02:39Talking about Jesus being the brightness of whose glory?
02:41God the Father.
02:42And the express image of his person.
02:45And upholding all things by the word of his power.
02:49When he had by himself purged our sins.
02:53Sat down on the right hand of majesty on high.
02:55So Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God the Father in heaven right now.
03:00Being made so much better than the angels.
03:02So Jesus, the Bible is telling us, is that he is so much better than the angels.
03:08Because he's God.
03:09He's better than the angels.
03:11And as he hath been by inheritance, obtain a more excellent name than they.
03:17For unto which of the angels said he at any time,
03:20Thou art my son this day, have I begotten thee.
03:23And again, I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son.
03:26And again, he bringeth in the first begotten in the world, he saith.
03:30And let all the angels of God worship him.
03:32And of the angels, he saith, who maketh his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire.
03:38So the Bible is telling us several things in here.
03:41And we've already gone through the book of Hebrews.
03:43But what it's saying is, is that God made, I'm sorry, not made, that's the wrong word.
03:50Jesus is so much greater than the angels.
03:52But we're going to see in a minute that when he came on this earth, he's below angels.
03:57So we are below angels.
03:59If you had a hierarchy of God, you know, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, then the angels, then us.
04:06That's what he's talking about.
04:08But the angels, but then he says, at no time did he ever call the angels sons of God.
04:16And this is a falsehood.
04:18You can look on YouTube about angels being sons of God from Genesis 6 and all this other,
04:24this big giant stuff that they're talking about, 50-foot giants and stuff.
04:29It's just garbage.
04:30Because at no time did God ever call an angel the son of God.
04:37If we are sons of God, John 1, 12, for as many as received him, to them gave he power to be the sons of God.
04:42But in verse 7 it tells us angels are ministering spirits.
04:47So whether it's a devil, what do they do?
04:50They minister for Satan.
04:53They lead people for Satan.
04:57But angels help out with God.
05:01And you can read that and you can go to Revelation 22 where John's trying to bow down to an angel.
05:07And he says, no, don't bow down to me.
05:08I'm a prophet just like you.
05:10Worship God.
05:12That's the only person you should be bowing down to.
05:14Go to Hebrews 2, down to Hebrews 2, verse 9.
05:19But we see Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels.
05:24Why?
05:25Because when Jesus came on this earth as a baby in Bethlehem's manger, you know what he was made?
05:32Lower than the angels.
05:33Why?
05:34To be the suffering of death.
05:36Because if he was above the angels, he couldn't suffer death.
05:40Crowned with glory and honor that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man.
05:48That's a good verse to destroy Calvinism because he tasted death for everyone.
05:54Not everybody's going to accept that free gift though.
05:56Go down to verse 16 in the same chapter.
06:00For verily he took not on him the nature of angels.
06:04Saying that when he came down on this earth, he didn't have the nature of angels.
06:08He's not looking like an angel.
06:11But what?
06:12He took on him the seed of Abraham.
06:16Which just destroys all this about, you know, being the seed of Abraham, the Jews.
06:22Why?
06:22Because he took on the seed of Abraham.
06:24He took on the man to be like a man so that he could suffer as a human being for our sins.
06:31Go back to 1 Corinthians 6.
06:34So I wanted to show you that because we will judge angels.
06:39Again, I don't believe it's because angels are doing anything wrong.
06:43But I do believe that we will have authority over them to tell them what to do.
06:50I don't know.
06:51Again, that's a mystery.
06:52We won't know until we get there.
06:53Verse 4.
06:54If then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life, said then the judge or least esteem in the church.
07:01He's saying if you've got things not to do with the church, just regular day things, you find the least esteemed person means the lowest person in the church.
07:11And he's better than going to the judge that's unsaved.
07:17I speak to your shame.
07:19He's saying, look, it's shameful.
07:21Is it so that there is not a wise man among you?
07:25He said, it's shameful that there's not even a wise person among you that can judge between these things.
07:30No, not one of you should be able to judge between his brethren.
07:34But brother goeth to law with brother and that before the unbelievers.
07:39Now, therefore, there is utterly a fault among you because you go to law one with another.
07:46What do you not rather take wrong?
07:48What do you not rather suffer yourself to be defrauded?
07:51Nay, you do wrong and defraud and that your brethren.
07:54He's saying, look, you go to court.
07:58You go to this unsaved, God-hating, Christ-hating judge.
08:04And you have him to decide your fate on something, you know, whatever lawsuit.
08:10You know, we're talking about a lawsuit.
08:11We're not talking about somebody committing a crime and going before the judge.
08:14You've got no control over that.
08:16What he's saying is, you know, Christian, he's basically saying you shouldn't sue your brother in Christ.
08:24It should be something that you can solve together.
08:27And what the Bible says, and, you know, I forgot to write this down.
08:30I just thought about this while I'm standing up here.
08:32But the Bible gives us things to lay out.
08:36If you have a problem with another church member or whatever, you're supposed to come to them and talk to them.
08:43And then if that doesn't work, what do you do?
08:45You bring one or two witnesses and say, hey, I'm just coming to you.
08:49Kind of, you know, kind of have a mediator between the two of y'all and try to work that out.
08:54If that doesn't work, what does it say?
08:57Bring it before the church.
08:59Hey, this guy done me wrong.
09:00This guy did whatever.
09:01What do y'all think we should do?
09:03And whatever the church says, you do it.
09:06That's what the Bible says.
09:09Never should any Christian ever sue another Christian for unpaid bills, unpaid this, unpaid whatever.
09:17That's what the Bible says.
09:18He said it'd be better in God's eyes for you to be defrauded.
09:23What does that mean?
09:24For you to lose your money.
09:25For whatever the lawsuit is, it'd be better for you to say, hey, I lost this money in this business.
09:33And, you know, that's just what happened.
09:36Instead of going to court and saying, hey, I'm going to sue the pants off of you because you owe me blah, blah, blah.
09:41That's what it's saying.
09:42It's saying it'd be better for you to do that.
09:45Now, verse 9 through 11, I'm going to spend a little bit of time on this because these verses have been twisted and twisted and twisted.
09:53These are probably some of the most twisted verses in the Bible.
09:56Because when you tell somebody that somebody who is a homosexual, a man that seeks after another man or woman after another woman, they'll show you this verse because in the New Bible Version, let me just read it in the King James and then I'll tell you what the New Bible Version says.
10:16Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
10:20Okay, so just right off the bat with that verse right there, the unrighteous, what does that mean?
10:26It means unsaved, you know.
10:29We're all unrighteous, right?
10:30I mean, where the righteousness comes through Jesus Christ.
10:34So, what is he saying?
10:35The unsaved shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
10:38I mean, that makes sense, right?
10:40Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, and then this word right here, nor effeminate.
10:50Nor abusers of themselves with mankind.
10:56What's up, baby?
10:57I don't want to step on you.
11:00Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11:09Now, this list, people like to use this list to say, if you are on this list, you cannot go to heaven.
11:19Well, did you listen Sunday?
11:21I mean, how about some of the people that are on this list?
11:25Fornicators?
11:26Yep, we had them.
11:27You got Samson.
11:29You got other people that are in heaven today, and they committed these sins.
11:35Idolaters.
11:36I'm sure there's somebody in heaven that was an idolater.
11:38I'm sure there's somebody in heaven that was one time a Catholic, and they turned from Catholicism to Jesus Christ.
11:46And now, they used to be an idolater.
11:48An adulterer?
11:49Yeah.
11:50David, he was an adulterer.
11:51God said he was a man after his own heart.
11:54Jesus was called the son of David.
11:56Now, effeminate.
11:57What does that mean?
11:59The New Bible Version, they changed effeminate to homosexual.
12:02That's what, in the NIV, the ESV, that's what they changed it.
12:06The problem with that is, let's keep reading.
12:10Look at verse 11.
12:12And such were some of you.
12:16But, you're washed, you're sanctified, but you're justified in the name of the Lord, Jesus, and by the Spirit of God.
12:22So, the Bible is teaching us here that these sins, the people that did them, the people in Corinth used to be that.
12:31But, now they're saved.
12:34They're washed of their sins.
12:36Well, what that leads people to believe is, oh, a homosexual, he can still be saved, right?
12:41Wrong.
12:43Let me just show you real quick, because, go back, go to Romans 1.
12:47And, this is what I always show people.
12:52In Romans 1, it tells us how a homosexual becomes that way.
12:59And, the homo will tell you, God made me that way.
13:03And, that's kind of true, but not completely.
13:05Not as far as the DNA.
13:08Not as far as somebody who's being made in the womb, and God said, hey, I'm going to make you a homo.
13:13But, I will tell you, just start in verse 24 of Romans 1.
13:18Wherefore, God also...
13:23Now, who gave them up to uncleanness?
13:25God did.
13:28God did.
13:29So, he kind of, he made them that way, in a way.
13:32Through the lust of their own heart.
13:34So, whatever desire that homo wanted, before they were considered a homo, rejected, guess what?
13:42God said, you want to do that?
13:44You want to be with dudes, and you're a dude?
13:46Okay.
13:47To dishonor their own bodies.
13:49That's number one.
13:50That's the first time that God gave them up.
13:53Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator.
13:59So, anytime you see people that are worshipping animals, they think animals are greater than people.
14:07You know, this is the people who, you know, got these bumper stickers on there that's God's backwards for dog.
14:13You know, all this, when they hold the animal higher than the creator, that's the first step.
14:20Number two, verse 26.
14:21For this cause.
14:23What cause?
14:24That they're serving the creature more than the creator.
14:27God gave them up to vile affections.
14:30What is vile?
14:32Nasty.
14:33Gross.
14:33Disgusting.
14:35Affections.
14:35Love.
14:36That's what affection is.
14:38God gave them up to those vile affections.
14:41For even the women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.
14:47Well, what would you say that the natural use of a woman is, is to procreate with a man, right?
14:54I mean, it isn't, I mean, you take any cat or dog or goat or whatever, and you take two males together, and they're never going to make another animal.
15:03But you take a male and a female, and that's the natural use.
15:06God gave them up to where their nasty affections, that women didn't even have the natural use to their own nature.
15:15Look at verse 27.
15:17And likewise, he's saying, in the same way, also the men leaving the natural use of the woman.
15:23Saying that they really didn't have a desire with the men.
15:25And the woman burned in their lusts one toward another, men with men, working that which is unseemly, and receiving themselves that recompense of their error which is me.
15:39And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind.
15:49If you look at the word reprobate, it means rejected by God.
15:55To do those things which are not convenient.
15:59You know, you go to a convenience store because it's close by.
16:04It's not normal.
16:07Don't let the world tell you that homosexuality is normal, and it's okay.
16:13Because God says it's not.
16:15And what irritates me is you have these people with these new Bible versions, and they'll say,
16:19Well, right here in the Bible, it says homosexuals.
16:22Now, let me tell you, there's a difference in somebody being effeminate.
16:25And homosexual.
16:27Now, does effeminate, somebody being effeminate, does it lead to that way?
16:31Sometimes, but not always.
16:33There's people that are effeminate.
16:35They just act that way.
16:36But most of the time, if it walks like a duck, it's going to quack like a duck.
16:40Eventually, it's going to be a duck.
16:41But the Bible's telling us that it is a sin for somebody to act effeminate.
16:46Like, somebody walking around like a girly man.
16:49I don't know how to explain it.
16:50You know, that's the best way.
16:52Walk around, the wrist is, you know, not exactly strengthened.
16:56And I don't have to explain it.
17:00I'm sure you can find out anything about what I'm talking about.
17:05But I've had people that I know say, Well, I know this lady used to be a lesbian, and she said she loved Jesus.
17:14But all you have to do is you have to show them Leviticus 20, 13, and say, Hey, the Bible says if a man lies with another man as he does a woman, that they should both be killed.
17:26And you know what they'll say?
17:26Well, that's not the Jesus I believe in.
17:29Then you're not saved.
17:30You believe in some kind of cross-dress, wearing, long-haired Jesus that's not the king that didn't die on the cross.
17:38You've got to believe in the Jesus of the Bible.
17:40And I've had people say, You know, well, I knew this person, you know, me and this other guy had an argument that this guy used to be a youth minister.
17:50It's kind of scary.
17:51He's a youth minister now, and he used to be homo.
17:54Hello.
17:54Talking about bringing the wolf into the chicken house.
17:59But now he's saved, and he's okay.
18:02Now, I'm going to tell you.
18:03I told that guy, I said, If you've got your kids in that youth group, you better watch out.
18:07Because eventually, they're going to be molested.
18:09It's just a matter of time.
18:14I don't know if you believe me or not.
18:16Because, you know, let's not believe God.
18:19I mean, if God takes your ability away, if it takes somebody's ability away to believe, how can they believe on Jesus?
18:29Because that's what he's doing here.
18:31Three times.
18:32God gave them up.
18:33God gave them over.
18:34God gave them up.
18:35And those people don't have the ability to believe.
18:38It's just like, and this is the best example I can give you.
18:41If somebody came up to you and said that Santa Claus is the way to heaven.
18:44He died for your sins.
18:46Believe in him.
18:47What are you going to say?
18:47I can't believe in that.
18:48That's crazy.
18:49Well, that's what these people think.
18:52These homos, they think, or they'll tell you, well, I love Jesus.
18:58I love Jesus just like you.
19:00But you don't love the Jesus of the Bible.
19:02You love some kind of, and I've heard people just say the stupidest stuff that Jesus, when he was hanging out with sinners and publicans, they were homos too.
19:11So, I don't believe that.
19:14And here's the thing.
19:15If you go back to Sodom and Gomorrah, you know, and you just want to believe that, I'm going to give you a little homework to do.
19:22Go to Genesis 19 and look about Sodom and Gomorrah.
19:26And what you'll see is that the Lord rained down fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord.
19:32So, this is what it is.
19:33You've got Jesus Christ.
19:34He's telling God the Father to bring down the fire and brimstone.
19:37So, go back to 1 Corinthians with that in mind.
19:43So, the new Bible versions, once again, they got it all screwed up.
19:46Why?
19:46Because the people that created the NIV and all this, they got homos on the board.
19:51And they just want you to understand that effeminate, they want you to think effeminate or abusers of themselves with mankind is the same thing as being a homo.
20:00I don't believe that, folks.
20:02Because you have to compare scripture with scripture and that's what we're doing.
20:05You can't take that and say, oh, well, because verse 11 is the key.
20:11Some of you, but you're washed.
20:14That's what people say.
20:15See, the Bible says that these people used to be homosexuals, but now they're not anymore and they're washed.
20:22Wrong.
20:23These people were effeminate.
20:26Or they're abusing themselves with mankind.
20:28Like what?
20:29Prostitute.
20:29I mean, wouldn't you say a prostitute abused themselves with mankind?
20:36How about somebody who gets drunk or high and they go out on a party or on a date and somebody abuses them?
20:47We need to be real careful.
20:48Keep your finger there and go to Ephesians 5.
20:51I'm going to show you a couple verses to know because people say cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
21:01I've already, we talked about that Sunday.
21:04Covetous people, drunkards, you know, Noah, he's in heaven.
21:07He was a drunkard.
21:08But then they'll take you to Ephesians chapter 5 and there's a similar list.
21:17So if you would just take your pen and write at Ephesians 5, I want you to write 1 Corinthians 6.
21:24And then at 1 Corinthians 6, I want you to write Ephesians 5.
21:28Because there's another list that's pretty similar.
21:31Because look at verse 3.
21:33We'll start at verse 3.
21:34But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you.
21:41So he's telling the people at Ephesus, just like at Corinth, hey, don't let it be known.
21:45Don't let this church be known as being covetous or unclean to be named as become as the saints.
21:54Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient, but rather give of thanks.
22:01But giving of thanks.
22:02For this we ye know that no whoremonger, what is that?
22:06That is a person, a male, that mongers around whores.
22:13The more common term would be a player.
22:16Okay?
22:18Nor unclean person.
22:20Well, what could that be?
22:21That could just be a whole lot of things.
22:24Nor covetous man.
22:25We talked about that before, last week.
22:27A covetous man is somebody who wants something that somebody has or wants something that they cannot have.
22:34Who's an idolater?
22:35So the Bible's telling us here that a covetous man is an idolater.
22:40Because they're trying to worship that dollar bill.
22:43Have any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God, that no man deceive you with vain words, for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the church of disobedience.
22:57Be ye therefore, be not ye therefore partakers with him.
23:01So just like in 1 Corinthians 6 and Ephesians 5, we have a similar list.
23:07Whoremongers, covetous, idolaters say that you cannot have the inheritance of the kingdom of God.
23:14Folks, don't let people tell you, hey, if you're on this list, it means you're not going to heaven.
23:18Well, that's dumb.
23:22Now go to Revelation 21.8.
23:26Let me show you another list.
23:27I'm going to show you the key to understanding this verse.
23:32Besides just flat out comparing it to other scriptures.
23:38So people focus on this type of person.
23:42If you commit this crime, you will not inherit the kingdom of God.
23:46Okay.
23:47Look at verse 28 and 21.
23:5021.8.
23:51Revelation.
23:52But the fearful, what is that?
23:54Somebody's scared.
23:56Okay.
23:56That's a lot of people.
23:58You're ever scared.
23:59You're scared of spiders, scared of snakes, scared of whatever.
24:01And unbelieving.
24:04So anybody who does not believe in the bondable and murders.
24:12Wait a minute.
24:13Didn't we just see Sunday?
24:16Murders?
24:17Didn't Moses a murderer?
24:19Yeah.
24:19He killed a man.
24:20How about King David?
24:21He killed a man.
24:24Sorcerer.
24:24What is that?
24:25Somebody who does witchcraft.
24:27Idolaters.
24:28Well, wait a minute.
24:29Sorcerers.
24:30Wasn't that Mary Magdalene?
24:32She had all these demons inside of her.
24:33I'm sure she had to do some kind of sorcery to get them in.
24:36And idolaters.
24:37And all liars shall have their part in the lake with burning of fire and brimstone, which is the sake of death.
24:43Which is pretty much saying the same thing as 1 Corinthians 6 and Ephesians 5.
24:48It's saying if you're one of these people, you will not inherit the kingdom of God.
24:52But wait a minute.
24:54Go to 1 Corinthians 15.
24:57Let's see the key to understanding this.
25:01It's not just saying, hey, if you're on this list.
25:04And look, I had a guy tell me.
25:07I believe he's a Christian.
25:08He said, look, if you're on this list.
25:10I said, well, I was a drunkard.
25:11Are you telling me that even though I was a drunkard at one time, that I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ when I was a young boy, that I'm not going to heaven?
25:20He said, well, according to this list, I said, I don't believe.
25:24Because I'm going to see Noah.
25:26Noah's going to be there.
25:28Look at 1 Corinthians 15, verse 49.
25:32Now this is known as, and we'll get to this weeks in the future.
25:37This is the resurrection chapter.
25:40This is all about the resurrection.
25:41Look at verse 49.
25:44As we have borne the image of the earthy.
25:48Right now, if you go look in the mirror, you have borne the image of the earthy.
25:52You have an earthly body.
25:54We should also bear the image of the heavenly.
25:57Which is who?
25:58Jesus Christ.
25:59When Jesus Christ comes in the clouds and our bodies resurrected out of the grave, it's going to look just like Jesus Christ.
26:07Now, this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit what?
26:15The kingdom of God.
26:17Wait a minute.
26:17Are you telling me that nobody with flesh and blood can get in the kingdom of God?
26:23That's right.
26:24When the body that you get, that goes into heaven, guess what?
26:28It's not going to be flesh and blood.
26:32It's going to be bone.
26:33Just like, if you remember when Jesus was there with the disciples, he said, handle me.
26:41Because no spirit is flesh and bone.
26:46Now, he's talking about the fleshly body, the corrupt, because it's gone down.
26:50I'm sorry.
26:51Neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
26:53So, he's saying, this body can be corrupted, but you're not going to inherit an incorrupted body.
27:00Behold, I'll show you a mystery.
27:01We shall all sleep, but we shall all be changed.
27:05In the moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound.
27:11When is this?
27:12Is when Jesus comes in the clouds.
27:13And the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
27:17For this corruptible, this old dirty, nasty body that's got aches and pains, must put on incorruption,
27:25and this mortal shall put on immortality.
27:29So, when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality,
27:37then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written,
27:41Death is swallowed up in victory.
27:45O death, where is I staying?
27:46O grave, where is I victory?
27:49So, what the Bible's teaching us here, is that when you get to heaven,
27:55you're not going to have people saying,
27:56You see that guy there?
27:59He committed adultery.
28:00You're not going to be known as adultery.
28:03You know, people's not going to point fingers at you and say you're a drunkard.
28:06Why?
28:07Because they're going to look at the charges, and they're going to look at the book,
28:11like you would, you know, like a CPA would, an accountant, and they're going to look and say,
28:18Well, what does he have?
28:19Oh, he's got nothing.
28:21Why is that?
28:22Oh, because the blood of Jesus has covered them all.
28:24So, nobody's going to be known as an adulterer.
28:27They're not going to, nobody's going to see King David up there and say,
28:31Hey, David, remember you committed adultery and murder?
28:34You're an adulterer and murder.
28:35Nobody's going to say that.
28:36That's what this verse is talking about.
28:39Look at 1 Corinthians 6.
28:41He's saying,
28:41Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
28:44I mean, that makes sense.
28:45Unsaved person, they can't get to heaven.
28:47Be not deceived, not the fornicators, nor adulterers, nor adulterers, nor effeminate,
28:54nor abusers of themselves and mankind, nor thieves, blah, blah, blah,
28:58shall inherit the kingdom of God.
29:01Because nobody's going to be known as an adulterer.
29:05If you've been married and divorced and remarried,
29:08then the world considers you adulterer,
29:12and it is considered adultery,
29:14but when you get to heaven, they're not going to say,
29:15You should have a person right now that committed adultery.
29:18Nobody's going to sit there and say,
29:19Hey, he's a drunkard.
29:21Because you will not have that label on you.
29:24The world may label you that.
29:26You know, there's some movie out that,
29:28I don't remember what it's called.
29:30A lady had to wear a big red A on her,
29:32and it's not because she liked Alabama,
29:33it's because they were trying to label her as an adulterer.
29:36She said,
29:37Nobody's going to tell her that when she gets to heaven.
29:401 Corinthians 6, Ephesians 5,
29:43that's what he's saying,
29:44is don't act like these people,
29:47because when you get to heaven,
29:49you're not going to be these people.
29:51Try to put on righteousness.
29:53That's what he's telling us.
29:54Put on righteousness to show other people.
29:58He's saying,
29:58Look, don't let this church be known
30:00as the adulterer church,
30:03or the fornicating church.
30:05Don't let it be done.
30:08Let's wrap this up.
30:09All things are lawful unto me,
30:11but all things are not expedient.
30:13He's saying,
30:14Look, I know all the law,
30:15but it's not expedient.
30:16It means quick.
30:17All things are lawful for me,
30:19but I will not be brought unto the power of any.
30:21Meat for the belly,
30:22and the belly for meats.
30:24But God shall destroy both it,
30:26and them.
30:27Now the body is not for fornication,
30:29but the Lord for the Lord,
30:31and the Lord for the body.
30:33He's saying,
30:33Look,
30:33you put meat in your belly,
30:36and your belly for your meat,
30:38you know,
30:38for you to live,
30:40but that's not what we live for.
30:42God's going to destroy in both.
30:44God's going to destroy your belly,
30:45God's going to destroy the meats.
30:46That's what he's saying.
30:47Talking about food.
30:48And then it says,
30:50Your body is not for fornication.
30:52What is fornication?
30:53Have that physical relationship
30:54outside of marriage,
30:56before you marry.
30:57But the Lord,
30:57and the Lord for the body.
30:59And the Lord has both raised up,
31:01I'm sorry,
31:02but God has both raised up the Lord,
31:04and will also raise up us,
31:07by his own powers.
31:09I don't remember where we saw it,
31:11but there's another good verse,
31:13of God showing that God the Father,
31:15raised Jesus out of hell,
31:18and out of death.
31:19And he would do the same,
31:21he would raise us up out of the grave.
31:23That's what it's saying.
31:25If you remember,
31:26we had a verse that said that the Holy Spirit,
31:28the same spirit inside of us,
31:29is the one that raised Jesus from the grave,
31:32or from death,
31:33and that God the Father did the same thing.
31:35So both of them pulled Jesus out of hell,
31:38out of the grave.
31:40Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ.
31:43So just know that your body is a member of Christ.
31:47Are we not called the family of God,
31:50members of the church?
31:53That's where this comes from.
31:55Shall I then take the members of Christ,
31:57and shall I make them members of a harlot?
31:58He's saying look,
31:59should you take the members of Christ,
32:03and turn it into a harlot?
32:04What's that?
32:05A whore,
32:05that's a prostitute.
32:06God forbid.
32:08What?
32:09Know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot,
32:11is one body?
32:12For two saith he shall be one flesh?
32:15So,
32:15and we don't have time to go there,
32:16but Matthew 19,
32:18Jesus said that when a male and a female come together,
32:23they're one body.
32:24They're not twain anymore.
32:26They're one.
32:27And that's what he's saying.
32:28He's saying if you go and lay with a harlot or a prostitute,
32:32you're one flesh with her.
32:34Don't care if you love her or not,
32:35that's what the Bible's saying.
32:37That's why he's warning them not to do that.
32:41But he is that,
32:42he's joining to the Lord as one spirit.
32:44He's saying just like you lying with another person,
32:48you're one flesh.
32:49That's what the Bible says,
32:50that when you lie with,
32:53that when you're with the Lord,
32:54you're one spirit.
32:55Flee fornication.
32:57Now the new Bible version,
32:58you know what they say?
33:00Flee sexual immorality.
33:02Now what is that?
33:04Well,
33:05back in the 80s when NIV was written,
33:07that was probably a whole lot different than it is in 2025.
33:10The Bible's clear.
33:12The King James Bible's clear.
33:14Fornication.
33:15Flee it.
33:16So don't ever put yourself in that situation.
33:20Don't ever be in that car with that boy
33:22parking somewhere.
33:26Because you're going to be tempted.
33:27It's going to happen.
33:29Flee it.
33:30Make sure you're not in that position
33:32because the devil will use that
33:34to make it where it'll be very hard for you to resist.
33:38And then you know what the guy's going to say,
33:39if you're a girl,
33:40if you truly love me,
33:43just like Delilah told Samson,
33:45if you truly love me,
33:46you would do this.
33:48Now if he truly loved you,
33:51he'd put a ring on your finger first
33:52because he wouldn't defile you.
33:56Every sin that a man doeth is without the body.
33:58Think about that for a minute.
34:00Everything you do,
34:01whatever sin it is,
34:03you don't do it with your body.
34:06Except fornication.
34:08You've got to use your body for fornication.
34:10That's what the Bible is saying.
34:12But he that committeth fornication
34:14sinneth against his own body.
34:19So when you commit fornication,
34:21you sin against your own body.
34:24What?
34:24Know you not that your body is a temple,
34:26the Holy Ghost which is in you,
34:28which ye have of God,
34:30and you are not your own.
34:31You're bought with a price.
34:33An expensive price.
34:34You can never repay this price.
34:36It's the price of Jesus Christ's blood.
34:39Therefore,
34:40glorify God in your body
34:41and in your spirit with your God.
34:43Now listen to me real carefully,
34:44young folks.
34:46I'm telling you.
34:48I've heard people say,
34:50I've already committed fornication.
34:51What's it matter if I do it again?
34:53It matters.
34:54Do you just want to compile?
34:55And that's what the Bible is teaching us here.
34:57Is that every time you're doing it,
34:59you're just piling on,
35:00piling on,
35:01piling on
35:02the punishment of God.
35:03Don't ever say,
35:04I've already done it once.
35:05Might as well do it.
35:06No, no, no, no, no.
35:08You made a mistake?
35:09The Bible says,
35:10just man gets up seven times.
35:13Don't ever just keep saying,
35:15I've already defiled my body.
35:16No, no, no, no.
35:17Don't do that.
35:18That's like saying,
35:19I've already got one tattoo.
35:20I might as well get 20.
35:21No.
35:22When you know that it's wrong,
35:25God's going to punish you harder,
35:27more severe,
35:28sooner than if you just said,
35:30well, I didn't know.
35:32That's why we're here.
35:33It's for you to know.
35:36You're bought with a price.
35:37Think about that.
35:38When you get ready to defile your body
35:40with a fornication or whatever
35:42and you get ready to sin,
35:43think about it.
35:44It's like,
35:44well, this body ain't even mine.
35:47I've been bought with a price.
35:49I belong to Christ.
35:50He died on a cross.
35:52He was beaten.
35:53He was stabbed.
35:54They spit on him.
35:55He done nothing wrong.
35:58And remember,
35:59when you get to a low point,
36:01hey,
36:01you're bought with a price
36:02and Jesus Christ
36:03has put the Holy Spirit
36:05inside of you
36:06and guess what?
36:07He's put that mark on you
36:09because one day
36:09he's coming back for you.
36:11We got to live like that
36:13and try to understand
36:16that Christ is coming back
36:18one day
36:18and he's coming back to get us.
36:20Let's bow our heads
36:20and have a word of prayer.
36:22God bless you
36:22You
36:24You
36:25Get out
