00:00I completely and utterly stand in solidarity with the junior doctors on their strike,
00:05you know, and good luck to them. I hope they win and get what they need. You know,
00:10it's always a double-edged sword taking strike action because, especially in the NHS,
00:15because the NHS is squeezed, but ultimately the people who are paying for the NHS are us,
00:23and we need to support the junior doctors so that they can have a good life in the NHS.
00:29Because if we don't have doctors, we don't have an NHS.
00:32They're not paid enough. Not paid, no. How many years it take? Five, seven years to get where they are,
00:38and they've struggled in uni and have part-time jobs to fund themselves, and then they want to pay them
00:45rubbish money. In terms of these particular strikes, I don't know the ins and outs particularly,
00:50but I think that doctors, you know, they do a very hard job, it's life and death, and
00:56you know, they deserve a good wage. I'm not sure if it's been handled the best by the government.
