Junior doctors are continuing to take action over pay and conditions. Do you feel doctors should ever go on strike? Do you support them earning more money? Is there a better alternative to taking strike action?
00:00I think they should be able to go on strike but this time I think everyone is feeling that they don't have as much money as they used to have and so maybe it's time that the doctors now thought actually we're all in a bit of bad trouble here economically so actually now is not the time for them to be going on strike.
00:18In a perfect world pay them as much as they'd like but we're not living in a perfect world I think the strike is a shame I think they are not doing themselves any favours the junior doctors when they come out of well they're not junior doctors anymore are they but I think when they come out of university that's what they are university graduates and their pay increments are pretty good so I think maybe the answer was the why
00:48looking off of their debt I think that's more useful and I know there's all this talk about them going off to Canada and Australia but they have to do conversion courses when they get there.
