A sombre mood enveloped the family home of A. Tishant, the six-year-old boy who was allegedly strangled to death and buried in Negri Sembilan several days ago.

Family members and close friends arrived at the residence early Wednesday (July 30) morning to pay their last respects to the child and offer support to the grieving family.

00:19The religious rites began at 8 a.m. and Tishant's remains were later taken to the Hindu crematorium
00:26at Jalan Kebunte for the final rites.
00:29The hearse carrying the child's remains left the family home at 10.42 a.m. for the crematorium.
00:36Tishant was reported missing on July 24 from Taman Bukit Indah, Iskandar Putri.
00:43Four days later, police discovered his body buried in a remote area in Rompin, Jempol.
00:49The boy's 36-year-old father was arrested to assist in the investigation.
