Linze Village of Gongbo'Gyamda County in China's Tibet autonomous region is a well-known habitat of the Tibetan macaque, a national second-class protected animal species.

Forest ranger Tobgye has voluntarily taken on the responsibility of protecting the macaques during his mountain patrols since 2000.
