Donald Trump Reveals That Israel Will Monitor U.S.-Backed Food Centers In Gaza To Offset Famine

During a press gaggle on Tuesday, President Donald Trump was asked about food centers in Gaza.

00:03When can we expect to see those food centers?

00:07So we sent $60 million.

00:08That's a lot of money for food, a lot of money that can take care of people for a long time.

00:13And we want to make sure it's going to be, it's being spent properly.

00:18And part of the spending is the distribution.

00:21You know, the, if you know, a lot of money's been set by other countries, but nothing compared to us.

00:28But a lot of things are stolen.

00:30They sent money, they sent food, and Hamas steals it.

00:33So it's a tricky little game, but we're going to make sure we have some very good people.

00:38They're going to be watching it.

00:40Who is going to be running those food centers for you, and what kind of oversight can we expect?

00:44Well, we're going to be dealing with Israel, and we think they can do a good job of it.

00:48And they want to do it.

00:49Of monitoring the food centers?

00:50No, they want to do it, the food centers, yeah.

00:52They want to preside over the food centers to make sure the distribution is proper.
