During a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday, President Trump was asked about creating "food centers" in Gaza.
Transcript
00:00Mr. President, you just talked about setting up food centers in conjunction with other organizations.
00:06Right.
00:06You're talking about the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation or recognized aid agencies.
00:10How will this work?
00:11Well, it's going to be working where the United States will be helping with the food.
00:16You know, we have a lot of access to food.
00:17We've got a lot of food ourselves, and we're going to bring it over there.
00:21We're also going to make sure that they don't have barriers stopping people.
00:24You know, you've seen the areas where they actually have food,
00:25and the people are screaming for the food in there.
00:29They're 35, 40 yards away, and they won't let them because they have lines that are set up.
00:36And whether they're set up by Hamas or whoever, but they're very strict lines,
00:42so we have to get rid of those lines.
00:43But we're going to be getting some good, strong food.
00:46We can save a lot of people.
00:48I mean, some of those kids are that's real starvation stuff.
00:51I see it.
00:52And you can't fake that.
00:54So we're going to be even more involved.
00:58We did some airlifts before, some airdrops, and the people are running for it.
01:04And the prime minister is going to help us.
01:07They're very effective with that.
01:08You've done that before, and for many, they've done that for 100 years very well.
01:12So it's not very hard to do, actually.
01:17Yes.
01:17Listen, you say you love Scotland.
01:19Yes.
01:19Listen, you say you love Scotland.
