00:00The House Prosecution Team is now on the basis of the Supreme Court impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:13The House Speaker Martin Rubualdez is now on the decision of SC.

00:20They still need to know the truth.

00:30Aldo Kumpianza ang ilang kongresista na may pag-asa pa namang matuloy ang impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte kahapon,

00:39mismong si House Speaker Martin Rubualdez ang nagsabing hindi sila susuko.

00:45Nanindigan si House Speaker Martin Rubualdez na hindi titigil ang Kamara sa pagsusulong ng accountability sa gobyerno.

00:53Ito ay matapos ibasura ng Korte Suprema ang inihain nilang articles of impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

01:02Ayon kay Speaker Rubualdez, bagamat kinikilala nila ang desisyon ng kataas-taasang hukuman,

01:08mandato rin nila ang maningil ng pananagutan.

01:10The Supreme Court has spoken, and we recognize its decision.

01:18But let it never be said that the House of the People bowed in silence.

01:25Our goal has never been to destroy, only to demand the truth.

01:31When institutions falter, the House of the People always stands firm.

01:38When others fear the storm, your House holds the line.

01:45And I ask your Speaker, I will be here, not just to preside, but to protect.

01:53Sang-ayo naman sa naging pahayag ng House Speaker, si Manila 3rd District Rep. Joel Chua,

02:01na bahagi rin ng House Prosecution Team.

02:04Ngayon naghahanda na rin sila para sa susunod nilang hakbang.

02:07Sa amin po, ang gagawin po namin sa panel of prosecutors ay tutuloy pa rin namin ito

02:13sa pumagitan ng pagsasubmit ng motion for reconsideration.

02:17Meron tayong 15 days para isugmit ito.

02:19At dahil naniniwala po kami na baga matirerespeto po natin ang desisyon ng ating kataas-taas ang hukuman,

02:28pero naniniwala po kami na sana hindi po ganito ang desisyon na kanilang nailabas.

02:34Ang isa pang House Impeachment Prosecutor na si Batangas 2nd District Rep. Jervie Luistro,

02:40may pasilip pa kung ano ang nais niyang mabigyang pansin sa ihain nilang motion for reconsideration.

02:46What we wish to emphasize really is the constitutional provision about the exclusivity of the power to initiate all impeachment cases

02:59which belongs to the House of Representatives.

03:04At ito rin po yung ano, naging basehan ng Juan Ponce Resolution during the time of impeachment of Chief Justice Corona.

03:14Kapag mayroong compliance with the basic requirements, the signing and the verification by one-third,

03:23it enjoys already the presumption of regularity and legality.

03:26Kung si ML Partylist Rep. Laila de Lima naman ang tatanungin,

03:31kumpiyansa siyang may pag-asa pa rin matuloy ang impeachment trial.

03:34Naniniwala naman ako, I think may pag-asa yung motion for reconsideration.

03:40Kasi marami na yung nagsabi, including mga legal nominaries,

03:43including mga retired justices and chief justices of the Supreme Court

03:50na mukhang may pagkakamali, lalo na dun sa mga factual conclusions.

03:56So kung maayos ang pagkakapresenta ng mga argumento sa motion for reconsideration,

04:03I'm hoping and I'd like to feel confident na baka nga ma-reconsider ng Supreme Court.

04:11Algo, kapod naman sa issue ng impeachment sa ngayon,

04:15ay nakaabang tayo dito sa plenary session ng Kamara kung saan,

04:19inaasahang maita talaga na yung mga uupong committee chairman dito sa Kamara.
