00:16Para kay Sen. Riza Honteveros, wala nang dapat pag-usapan sa issue ng jurisdiction

00:25Handa ang senadora ay debate ito kung may mongwestyo na senador.

00:29Settled na po yun sa ilang desisyon ng Korte Suprema bukod pa sa utos ng konstitusyon.

00:36Tingin ko ang tama ay once acquired na ang jurisdiction ng impeachment complaint ng Korte

00:48Para sa akin non-issue yung jurisdiction.

00:59na tanungin ang 20th Congress Senate kung gusto nitong ituloy ang impeachment trial.

01:04Wala akong alam na Korte na once na nakakuha ng jurisdiction

01:11ay magpapatanong sa kung sino pa kung may jurisdiction siya o wala.

01:16Usually ang Korte, I would suppose, ang Senado bilang impeachment trial court

01:21seloso sa jurisdiction.

01:24Nasa kamay na nga namin eh, bakit pa namin isusuko yun, di ba?

01:28Na nindigan ng Senadora na utos ng konstitusyon ang gampanin sa impeachment.

01:34Dapat rin anya sa Senate impeachment court

01:37i-erase ang anumang usapin tungkol sa impeachment

01:40at hindi sa Senado bilang legislative body.

01:43Matatanda ang may pinalutang na plano si de la Rosa kaugnay sa usapin.

01:47Itatanong ko rin na tinanong natin yung House of Representatives.

01:50Why not ask ourselves also?

01:54Talungin rin natin yung Senate of the 20th Congress

01:58kung are they willing to be bound by the actions of the previous Senate of the 19th Congress.

02:11Habang ang ilang Senador naman, sinagot kung po pwede ba talagang

02:14madismiss ang impeachment case laban sa vice.

02:17Ang nagsasabing, hindi pwedeng i-dismiss ng impeachment or ng trial court,

02:25ng impeachment court na yung Senado yun,

02:28ang impeachment complaint, di ba?

02:31That's not an opinion.

02:33It's a fact that you can dismiss it, you can hear it.

02:38And when you hear it, you can acquit or you can convict.

02:43Why can you dismiss?

02:44Because always, always, ang unang titignan ng korte, yung jurisdiction.

02:50So ngayon, may jurisdiction ba o hindi?
