00:04So going through the Manchester World website this morning, I thought we had a great opportunity to direct you to some of the brilliant pieces of work that have gone out in the last seven days from the team.
00:14Now we're going to be starting with Jess who, while she's only been at Manchester World for a few months, she's wasted no time in putting out some brilliant ranged articles.
00:22Now she had a piece last week on the Flying Horse pub near Manchester Airport which has reopened for the public after a six-figure investment.
00:30The pub's interior has been completely redone with new furniture, new dance area and new TV screens which will be showing all the football that you can possibly imagine.
00:38And they've also got a new outdoor play area for kids so that they can keep busy while you're enjoying your meal.
00:44There's also a piece out about Stuart Richter, the Manchester-based Jiu-Jitsu star who won a gold medal at the AJP European Championship over in Madrid last week.
00:52With Manchester being recognised now as the place to be for Olympians in training and for all other forms of sports people,
00:58it could be that Richter is the next of a long line of successful athletes who've built their careers in this very city.
01:05Finally for Jess, there's been some exciting coverage of the upcoming Manchester Pride celebrations with an article outlining the full line-up for the Weekend of Fun,
01:12as well as a piece talking about Proudfest, a free event for queer families and allies to celebrate Pride in a comfortable, colourful and welcoming environment.
01:20It's taking place on Saturday 23rd of August and is definitely worth checking out.
01:24Now we have to mention Rich Faye briefly, the longest serving of the Manchester World team.
01:28He's a Manchester United writer and so predictably has not been able to relax much over the last year.
01:33He's constantly putting out some brilliant pieces on the Red Devils transfer dealings so please check them out and that's all for now.
