Tramlines 2025: Take a walk through Friday night at Sheffield music festival

Lauren Hague takes you on a walk through Friday night at Tramlines Festival 2025 meeting fans and soaking in a summer night ahead of headliners Pulp.

00:00come with me to day one of tramlines with the star we started the day off in our favorite bar in

00:06handsworth ivy ivy it's right on the 52 routes they're very easy to get to hillsborough from

00:11and they've even got a special tramlines pulp cocktail on this weekend when we got to hillsborough

00:16park it was time to get our bearings and just browse look at the merch stalls just see what

00:22was on offer and they had a lot of really great pulp merch as well as tramlines own merch as you

00:28can see from this video the bar queues weren't that bad either i know it looks quite a long queue but

00:34it was moving so fast they do not mess around at all the lidl stall also had some amazing bargains

00:41you could actually get a hot dog and a glass of prosecco for £9.50 which for festival food is so

00:48good we then had a bit of pizza obviously got a drink from the bar and got ready to watch pulp

00:55the atmosphere was absolutely electric it's just so amazing to have a band like pulp from sheffield

01:01back in their hometown headlining a sheffield festival just everyone there was so excited

01:08and you could tell the whole crowd had just been waiting all day for this moment i cannot tell you

01:14how amazing it was when jarvis cocker actually walked across the barricade and was pointing at fans

01:21guessing whereabouts in sheffield they were from just naming random areas of sheffield he was naming

01:27handsworth stradbrook uh woodhouse it was amazing pulp pulled out all the stops with their production

01:35look at the lights it just looked even better as it went a little bit darker and then of course

01:40sheffield icon richard hawley came and made an appearance i feel like a lot of us guessed this would

01:46happen but it was just so amazing to see him up there on the stage just made it even better and

01:51even more of a celebration of sheffield what an amazing start to day one and stay tuned to see
