00:00King Charles III is sharing a rare health update amid his cancer battle.

00:05Over a year after the British monarch shared he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer in February of 2024,

00:12he tells a royal fan during a recent visit to the jockey club rooms in Newmarket that he is in a good place.

00:19As the fan recalls of Charles' explanation of his health to the PA news agency, per Hello Magazine,

00:25he said he was feeling a lot better now and that it was just one of those things.

00:32Additionally, Buckingham Palace recently shares good news about the 76-year-old's health,

00:37with a source telling NBC News in December that Charles was dealing with a managed condition

00:43and that his treatment cycle will continue into next year.

00:47While the King's cancer journey is ongoing, he is also managing to maintain a busy schedule

00:52filled with royal duties alongside his wife, Queen Camilla.

00:55Even sharing what he has learned throughout his diagnosis at a reception honoring cancer researchers at the palace in April.

01:04He writes in a statement shared in booklets handed out at the event,

01:07Each diagnosis, each new case will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones.

01:15But as one among those statistics myself, I can vouch for the fact that it can also be an experience
