00:00I do want to ask you, Zeno, about Arch Manning.

00:02Part of the hype around Texas is the talent everywhere,

00:05but of course, a quarterback with a famous last name.

00:09We have seen glimpses of Arch,

00:11but as he told everybody last week in Atlanta at SEC Media Days,

00:14some of this Heisman conversation,

00:16a number one overall pick in the NFL draft conversation,

00:20is not deserved just yet.

00:22He basically said, I've started two games, let's slow our roll.

00:26But you know that roll is only going to pick up

00:29if Texas and Arch are in the conversation,

00:31October, November, and in to early November.

00:35What are your realistic expectations

00:37for Arch Manning this year in Austin?

00:41Play well enough to help his team win 10 or 11 games

00:45and get to the college football playoff.

00:46That's what the realistic expectations should be.

00:50I think anything beyond that is sort of gravy on top.

00:55You know, it's just an added bonus.

00:59I mean, look, it's not going to shock anybody

01:01if Arch Manning is sitting there in December in New York City

01:05as one of the Heisman finalists.

01:07That's not going to shock anybody.

01:09But again, this is a Texas team that, you know,

01:12has some bumps in the road here.

01:14Obviously, Ohio State in week one, they have to go to Florida.

01:17They have to go to Georgia.

01:18It's not exactly like it's a, you know,

01:20a schedule that, you know, lends for a first-year starter

01:23to be very successful.

01:25All that said, this is still a good enough team, you know,

01:28from top to bottom with the roster for them

01:30to be able to get in the college football playoff.

01:32Of the three games I mentioned,

01:33if they win at least one of those, guess what?

01:36They'll finish 10-2,

01:37and they'll be in the college football playoff without fail.

01:40So I think when it all comes down to it,

01:42that's really what this is about, team success,

01:44as much as it is individual success.

01:45And if Arch has this team playing well

01:48and winning 10 games,

01:49I think the Heisman numbers are going to be there

01:51to back that up just based off of the offense

01:53that they play and how they move the football.
