00:00Let's roll out Sam here, because remember that deal that started July 1st now allegedly caps

00:07how much you're allowed to spend. He says it was unfair before, but it'll be fair now.

00:12Financially, with revenue sharing, I think now we're back on even keel with everybody,

00:18which we weren't. You just read that off. When we were even, we went from 4 and 20 to

00:26top 20 in two years, and so I think the program has a chance to get back up to around those

00:34nine-plus wins than where we were before, just simply because we have the finances to back that.

00:41We've got a good football team. We've got a good staff. We've got great facilities,

00:45and we've got a great state of fans at the University of Arkansas and the state of Arkansas.

00:52So there's no reason we can't do it. If I was going to make an excuse, it would be financially

00:57is why we haven't done quite as well as where we were projected my first two years.

01:02But I think now, with it being even, look out, the Razorbacks are coming on.

01:07Okay. Look out. Yeah, look out. So that's great. And all of that wonderfulness. But then he never

01:14does it. So I would keep an eye on that job, and I can never get enough of this now. It's like three

01:20days in a row. I can't get enough of it. So I would say that job, and I would say I don't believe

01:28for one minute he would go to Auburn because it would be like beneath him to go to Auburn after

01:34being at Alabama. But I think that he would do Florida State, and I think Florida State, because

01:40all they've done is complain about the ACC and everything else. I think the ACC's credibility would

01:46go through the roof if he went there. And then they'd have Big Chest, they'd have Belichick,

01:53they'd have Saban, and let's face facts. I think the ACC gets a really bad rap in football.

02:01In basketball, it's God's gift to the sport, right? But in football, they say they're trash.

02:07I don't believe that. I know they didn't have a great year last year, but I don't believe that

02:13it's a bad conference in basketball or football ever. And I think that if he went there, they'd

02:21actually win. And I think the situation is basketball. I mean, look at the teams that they

02:30have in that conference. Like Miami can't win in Atlanta against Georgia Tech. Miami couldn't

02:36even win it at Syracuse against the Orange on the road. I think it's a lot harder than people think

02:43it is. I could see Saban there. I've said that the last couple of days. I could even, you know,

02:48I'm not sure if I actually truly believe he would live in Los Angeles and coach USC. I mean, he seems

02:57like, you know, he was at LSU, at Alabama. He lives down there in Tuscaloosa, right? He lives on that

03:03lake. So he's like a Southern boy, right? Like, I don't see him being that Hollywood type. You tell

03:10me, Mike. I don't think he's a Hollywood type in LA. That doesn't seem like a good fit for him.

03:19Joey Prawns told me last night that he thinks that Miami would knock off big chest for him,

03:25that if he really was seriously available, that he thinks that Miami would, would go after Saban.

03:31So I, you know, I don't know. I don't know about that. He was in Miami. He probably liked to be in

03:36there despite not winning in the NFL. He probably loved living in Miami. Look, he failed miserably

03:42with the Dolphins, but if they got him at Miami, I think they'd win a national championship number six.

03:48And they can't win with this guy. They got, um, he's already proven to me that

03:54he can win nine games. That's it. Like I, I mean, the, the, the, all I, I have nightmares. I literally

04:03have nightmares about the Georgia tech and Syracuse games. But then again, I did hit the Syracuse game

04:09in a big way. That ticket I cashed, I knew they would beat Miami and they did. And then I cashed again

04:15in the bowl game that they lost. All they do is lose big games. That's it. And I, listen,

04:21I've been a biggest cane fan for 55 years. So don't tell me. And I'm telling you if they got him,

04:27uh, like, look what they did when they had Jimmy Johnson and Howard Schnellenberger and they,

04:33you know, Dennis Erickson, they won titles. Don't tell me Nick Saban wouldn't win a title in Miami

04:40with the money that they spend on football. And that guy is the coach. Here's the difference

04:45between him and big chest. Uh, big chest is decent at best. And Nick Saban's the greatest coach that

04:52maybe ever lived. Big difference. Uh, when you talk about those two, uh, Arkansas's win totals

04:59is five and a half. Uh, and you talk about winning nine games, their schedule is, I mean, I know I've

05:06been doing this with a lot of these sec teams. Not only do they have in conference at Tennessee,

05:11Texas, A and M, uh, at LSU at Texas, Missouri at home, they play Notre Dame at a conference too.

05:19Uh, they have Notre Dame in and out of conference game. They got a, that's a tough, tough, tough.
