02:31into a covenant he doesn't force he invites humanity into a covenant not contract of rules
02:38but relationship rooted in identity authority and purpose genesis 1 verse 26 tells us let them have
02:47dominion ephesians 2 verse 6 he made us sit together in heavenly places in christ jesus romans 8 16 to 17
02:55we are children of god and joint heirs with christ these are not just words they are legal realities in
03:05the spirit yet many believers feel powerless not because they've been disqualified but because of
03:12ignorance because they've been disconnected from the truth this study is not about how you feel
03:18it's about what is true and how you can apply that truth in your life now the following are titles and
03:26subtitles that we will be discussing today number one what is kingdom covenant number two who are we as
03:34children of god number three what does it mean to be seated in heavenly places number four the victory
03:40lesson a covenant people with no fruit b kingdom authority and faith number five what if you've lost
03:47it number six summary and then we'll finish with number seven declarations which is a decoration
03:53prayer amen amen all right let's get into it so what is kingdom covenant it's very different from a
04:02contract what is kingdom covenant kingdom covenant is not merely a religious idea or a spiritual contract
04:10it is a divine eternal eternal never ends and gracious agreement initiated by god himself not only does
04:21it never end but it cannot be broken amen that's the difference between a contract and a covenant it is
04:27god's way of inviting his people into a sacred relationship of love loyalty and purpose under
04:33his sovereign rule so what does it mean biblically what it means is this god takes the initiative calling
04:43us into covenant not because of our merit but because of his love let's confirm that with the word of god
04:50genesis 17 verse 7 genesis 17 7 reading from the amplified classic and i will establish my covenant
05:00between me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting solemn pledge
05:10to be a god to you and to your posterity after you posterity is talking about those that come behind
05:18you in other words the generations to come there's a preaching there okay let's keep going so it is a
05:25relational and binding where god sets the term and his people responds with faith and obedience not out of
05:34fear but faithful devotion it is very important for us to understand that it's relational let's confirm that
05:42with the word hebrews 8 verse 6 hebrews 8 6 in the new king james version but now he has obtained a more excellent
05:51ministry in as much as he is also mediator of a better covenant which was established on better promises amen
06:04so the covenant is fulfilled like like george said in the verse before the covenant is fulfilled in christ jesus
06:11jesus is the eternal king and through him we are made citizens of the kingdom of heaven sealed by the new
06:19covenant in his blood matthew 26 28 now just as the father has given jesus authority over his kingdom jesus now
06:30shares that kingdom with his followers with us his disciples his um his brothers and sisters inviting us to reign
06:39with him and carry his purpose on earth what does it mean it means we are called to share in christ's
06:47royal royalty um authority and live as part of god's kingdom strengthened by his power and guided by his
06:59love let's confirm that with the word luke 22 verse 29 luke 22 29 in the new king james version and i bestow
07:09upon you a kingdom just as my father bestowed one upon me amen that tells you what position jesus has put us
07:19in right this is very crucial and important for us to understand it is visibly revealed to
07:26us as the church and in us or through us at the church i should say as his chosen ones we are called
07:33to reflect his glory and be united by faith and dedicated to his kingdom let's confirm that with
07:40the verse 1 peter 2 verse 9 1 peter 2 9 in the amplified classic but you are a chosen race a royal
07:48priesthood a dedicated nation god's own purchased special people that you may may set forth the
07:58wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of him who called you out of darkness
08:06into his marvelous light amen so we know that god gives salvations righteousness inheritance authority
08:16and purpose and our part is we are meant to respond with faith obedience and surrender so now we
08:24understand how that covenant works between god and us let's let's move on right number two who are we
08:34as children of god who are we as children of god as children of god we are given a powerful and
08:42transforming identity yes i i put that word in there specifically i added to it transforming identity
08:51because we are constantly being transformed it's a journey in christ's likeness in our identity the
08:57privilege of being god's own children not just heirs but also joint heirs with christ sharing in his glory
09:05and authority galatians 3 verse 26 reinforces this by reminding us that our status as god's children is
09:15established through faith in christ jesus and him alone so being children of god means more than just
09:23a title it means carrying his name and reflecting his nature in our lives it means we have kingdom rights
09:32and authority empowered to live in victory and purpose now more importantly our identity is secure
09:41so it's not uh why um you know like one minute you are that person another minute you're not our identity
09:48is secured and rooted in christ not in our utterly appearance or how well we perform how we look what we
09:56we wear the truth brings assurance confidence and hope encouraging us to walk boldly not on our own
10:04but as members of god's family and representative of his kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven
10:12let's confirm that john 1 verse 12 john 1 12 in the amplified classic but to as many as did receive
10:20and welcome him he gave the authority power privilege and right to become the children of god that is to
10:29those who believe in adhere to trust in and rely on his name talking about jesus christ of course
10:38romans 8 14 to 17 romans 8 14 to 17 new king james version and if children then heirs so he's saying
10:48if we are children then we are also heirs as of god and joint heirs with christ if indeed we suffer with him
10:59that we may also be glorified together amen amen so when we understand our identity our behavior follows
11:10in who we truly believe we are it's very important to understand that when you understand your identity
11:17it's like you know what um what um you are able to to do what you you have as privileges to do if i
11:25should say it like that right where then our behavior will follow in who we truly believe we are so we're
11:32not trying to become children of god we already are children of god and i'm talking from a position if
11:38you're already a christian right so what happens is from that positions flows power not from you
11:47from the position of being children of god understand there is a standing for it the standing is based
11:53on christ jesus not on your own right because of the standing based on christ jesus that is why we are
12:01able to walk in victory and from victory amen number three number three what does it mean to be seated
12:10in heavenly places okay so as believers the moment we place our faith in jesus we are spiritually raised
12:19resurrected in another words and seated with him in the heavenly realms let me explain that very
12:25quickly we have a spirit soul and body our soul and our body is being transformed in christ likeness but
12:34our spirit as the word of god says is now perfect from the moment you give your life to god
12:40your spirit is perfect that's what he's talking about there so our spirit
12:43is now like christ jesus is perfect in his image because of christ jesus not because of us because of
12:52what he did because of the finished work of christ now this position is not just symbolic it is a
12:58powerful reality that places us above all spiritual forces and authorities very important because of where
13:06we are seated in christ jesus we do not strive for victory rather we live and operate from a place of
13:14already secured triumph we operate we live from victory rather than towards it amen now this divine
13:25positioning grant us authority and power in our daily lives so basically what it's what we're saying here is
13:33we're not coming from a begging point of view we know what we have access to right so what we are
13:39doing now is we are taking on the privileges the joint air privileges that has already been given to us
13:46and we say and we are commanding here on earth that hey this is not my portion because my portion is
13:54from sitting uh from being seated in heavenly places and from that place when i look at it this is
14:00not how it's supposed to be this is not what the word of god says it needs to be and it has to change
14:05doesn't matter what it looks like in the physical the law legally it has to change because i am no longer
14:12the one i am i now belong to christ i'm not of my own so that divine positioning grant us authority and power
14:19in our daily lives see luke chapter 10 verse 19 remind us that jesus has given us authority to overcome challenges and
14:26darkness and darkness symbolized in you know by uh mentioning serpents and scorpion we are empowered
14:33to walk boldly and confidently confidently not because of our own because it's been laid there for us
14:40what can be done and what cannot be done in his word and what is available for us not as victims but as
14:47victors releasing there you go so why didn't i say oh no wait a second this is not all right it needs to be
14:54changed it's us releasing god's kingdom authority on earth because remember we are living in a fallen
15:00world yes god has given us the key but we need to release it take the key release it right let's keep
15:06going so being seated with christ means our identity and power come from him obviously we share in his reign
15:14and have access to his authority which transforms how we approach life's battles this truth gives us
15:22confidence our authority in christ is real and is very secure amen amen ephesians chapter 2 verse 6 from
15:32the ampc confirm that and it says and he raised us up together with him and made us sit together sorry
15:40sit down together giving us joint sitting with him in the heavenly sphere by virtue of our being in christ
15:48jesus the messiah the anointed one ephesians 1 21 nkjb says far above all principality and power and might
15:58and dominion and every name that is named not only in this age but also in that which is to come
16:06so as ephesians 1 verse 21 states we have been given dominion the concept of dominion rooted in the
16:15hebrew word rada means to rule reign and exercise sovereign control as believers we understand the
16:25dominion meaning to rule reign and exercise sovereign control is part of god's original design for us
16:32as stated in genesis 1 verse 26 when he gave humanity authority over the earth remember the creeps
16:40so over all things including those creeps though this dominion was lost through the fall adam and eve
16:51christ has fully restored it for us right so we must understand that dominion is not about pride or
17:00self-exaltation it is about walking in the purpose god has given us as his representative that's what we
17:07say that you know we ambassadors that's what george was talking about sovereign position it is a position
17:13and calling that grants a grounds our authority not just a feeling because we are seated with christ
17:22and share in his victory we can confidently live at our god-given authority advancing his kingdom on earth
17:30with boldness and humility amen genesis 1 verse 26 genesis 1 26 in the new king james version then god
17:39said let us make men in our image according to our likeness according to our likeness let them have
17:49dominion over the fish of the sea over the birds of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth
17:56and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth dance the creeps again even over the creeps
18:04amen hallelujah right let's confirm another part of what we just spoke with romans chapter 5 verse 17
18:11from the nkjv version for if by the one man's offense death reigns through the one much more those
18:21who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one
18:28jesus christ so we are this verse is talking about the difference in what is there as covenant but what
18:34has been put there right better the better covenant like george said in um in the verse before now let's
18:40go to an illustration that is um very important for our life now because there is so many things happening
18:47online on youtube different churches trying to appeal to different people let's look where that
18:53actually matters in our life right number four number four the fig tree lesson the fig tree lesson
19:01mark 11 12 to 14 in the king james version yes the v and the vows so listen to it very carefully mark
19:0911 12 14 king james and on the morrow talking about and tomorrow when they will come
19:17from bethany he was hungry and seeing a fig tree talking about jesus
19:24a far off having leaves he came if happily he might find anything there on in other words
19:32he was walking with his disciples he saw from afar the fig tree and he and he saw some leaves and
19:37he thought oh wow we're going to be able to get some figs he happily he might find anything there on
19:44and when he came to it he found nothing but leaves for the time of figs was not yet now think about
19:51this for the time of figs was not yet in another words it was not season it was not the season to
19:59produce that fruit nevertheless listen to what happened which also shows us what kind of authority
20:05god's given us well the time of figs was not yet and jesus answered and said on to it no man
20:13onto what not to his disciples hey no he looked at the fig tree and he spoke to the fig tree but it's
20:22not time george yes listen to what type of authority because there's a difference this is the authority
20:28god has given us jesus answered and said on to it no man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever and his
20:38disciples heard it wow so i like what i like the the approach you bring of it because i didn't write
20:47these ones there but i like the approach george was saying authority is based on the word of god
20:53is not based on your circumstances it's not based on your situation it's based on the word of god our
20:59life as christian needs to be based on the word of god the word of god is there to prove that yes you
21:06know what i mean this is what's meant to happen amen let's uh let's keep going a covenant people with no
21:13fruit it's very important to understand that see jesus approached the fig tree expecting fruit because
21:18it had leaves it had leaves a sign it should be producing even though it was not the season for it
21:28it had leaves which mean it got nourishment see you will see a tree without leaves most of the time where
21:35it's it's not the season but also when it's doesn't have nourishment but it had leaves on it a sign it should
21:41be producing but it produced no fruits this is a powerful powerful symbol of those who appear
21:48outwardly godly but lack covenant faithfulness and spiritual fruit we have to understand that kingdom
21:55covenant demands not just appearance but fruitfulness now though i'm not we are not going to talk about
22:03that fruitfulness in the word of god is not necessary the same way that the world says that fruits is
22:09okay let's keep going let's uh confirm that all right john 15 verse 8 john 15 8 again in the in the
22:17king james version herein is my father glorified that ye bear much fruit so shall ye be my disciples
22:27jesus was saying my father is glorified when you bear much fruit and that also reflects of you being
22:35of you being my disciples well we have to use uh all those different um bible uh translation because
22:41of uh copyright issues just so you guys are wondering what are they doing right let's keep going but it's
22:46also good to study the word of god in different translations because some of them are very good at
22:50explaining different points compared to the others yeah so let's continue like israel in the old testament
22:57many had the outward signs of religion the temple there was a law there was a lineage even you know just
23:04because my grandfather um became uh is a christian doesn't mean that you know what i mean i'm gonna
23:10just keep enjoying the fruits of it right anyway that's for another story but rejected god's son they
23:18rejected god's son and bore no inner transformation or fruit love power authority as mentioned in luke chapter
23:2613 verse 6-9 jesus didn't curse it the tree because he was angry he was issuing a prophetic warning to israel
23:36and now the church don't just look like you belong to the kingdom but bear fruit worthy of the kingdom
23:44covenant amen let's keep going b b kingdom authority and faith mark 11 20 to 24 mark 11
23:5520 to 24 in the king james version and in the morning as they passed by they saw the fig tree dried up
24:04from the roots the day before jesus kissed it the next morning they woke up and the fig tree was dried up
24:12from the roots and peter calling to remembrance said unto him master behold the freak tree fig tree george
24:21which thou cursed is withered away and jesus answering said unto them have faith in god for verily i say unto you
24:35that whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and shall not
24:43doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass he shall have
24:51whatsoever he saith therefore i say unto you what things soever ye desire when ye pray believe that ye
25:01receive them and ye shall have them amen amen so after jesus cursed the withered fig tree he used the moment
25:11as a powerful teaching opportunity for his disciple abides a connection between faith and spiritual authority
25:19there's a connection there if you don't have faith i don't know what authority you're going to be
25:23walking with in mark chapter 11 verse 22 to 24 jesus emphasized the importance of having unwavering
25:31faith in god he explained that believers who speak with faith without doubt can command even mountains
25:37to move and they will see their prayers answers now this this teaching reveals a foundational truth about
25:44kingdom authority jesus demonstrating his divine dominion spoke to the natural world and it obeyed he
25:53then extended his this authority to his fellow um followers his disciple encouraging them to operate
26:01in the same power through faith thus us being his disciple being um being his children we are also we also
26:10have to do the same thing we have the same authority like he encouraged the disciple to use this authority in
26:17the natural world right so for us as believers this means that our faith is not passive it is active and
26:27authoritative why because god ordained it it's ordained by god kingdom authority is accessed accessed george
26:38through confident trust in god's power allowing us to influence circumstances and overcome obstacles by
26:45speaking in alignment with his will this lesson reminds us that faith and authority go hand in hand
26:54so when we fully trust god and declare his promises we participate in his kingdom work and we will see
27:03his power at work in our lives and the world around us amen it's very cool maybe that's why we're like
27:09that right now by embracing this connection we walk boldly as representative of christ understanding that the same
27:17authority that spoke creation into order is available to us through faith the victory demonstrates that spiritual
27:26authority is released through faith-filled words not passive belief amen so number five number five
27:36what if you've lost it what if it's too late what if what if what if you lost it what if you feel you lost it we should say
27:45all right it's natural to sometimes feel distant from the power and authority god has given us as his children
27:52life's challenges mistakes and struggles can leave us feeling disconnected or defeated however the bible reassures us
28:00that god's gifts and calling remain firm and unchanging however the bible reassures us
28:08i'm not reading a bible verse
28:10but i'm giving you a key here we will read it though soon i'm giving you a key here right now
28:16are you feeling down do you feel like you've lost it first very first thing you should do
28:21go back to his word go back to his promises repent because his word will reassure you
28:27that god's gifts and calling remain firm and unchanging the covenant he made with us does not
28:33fade or lose its power even when our faith wavers amen amen romans chapter 11 verse 29 from the ampc
28:42confirm what georgia said for god's gifts and his call are irrevocable he never withdraws them when once
28:51they are given and he does not change his mind about those to whom he gives his grace or to whom he
28:59sends his cold if you find yourself feeling like you've lost your spiritual authority or favor
29:08scripture lays out a clear path for restoration first repentance and as a see a sincere return to god
29:18is essential now let me explain that because some people will hear this as you must have done
29:25something wrong just like the friends of job went up to him you must have done something wrong otherwise
29:29you will not be in this position now remember the story of job he didn't do anything wrong in fact
29:33god said have you considered my perfect son or perfect whatever word different translation says have you
29:42considered him job so he hadn't done anything wrong apart from the fact he was he was in fear because
29:50he kept sacrificing out of repentance for his whole family and all that but he was a sincere man he was
29:57a righteous man before the eyes of god yet the people couldn't understand that and kept attacking him
30:05even his own wife said why don't you just curse god and die so first repentance and a sincere return
30:12to god it's not saying that it's your fault and that you've done something wrong that's why in this
30:16position because you may not have done anything wrong you may have lived to the best of your ability
30:22now i'm not saying that you were perfect but you may have lived to the best of your ability and like
30:27job god is very very happy with you but it doesn't mean he's gonna keep reaffirming it all the time
30:33in fact as you grow more and more mature he speaks less and less i don't mean in the sense of
30:41that he goes distant from no he's not but there's a maturity level there you've achieved the maturity
30:46level so he doesn't have to speak to you like a baby all the time because you're reassuring it's
30:51okay my son i'm here it's okay my daughter i'm here no he doesn't have to do that because you're a lot older
30:55more mature you know him better now like it's in a relationship i know george better now than i did
31:01the first year we got married right so first repentance is talking about in moments where you
31:11have and you will know because the holy spirit will bring it up to you in moments where you have
31:16either let him down or allowed yourself to be let down even by the circumstance let me explain that
31:23you can be like joe perfect but eventually just like joe you can then crack joe eventually cracked
31:31that's true eventually he cracked he couldn't take it anymore and he blew blew a socket
31:39kind of like george sometimes eventually it's just too much and you just explode and you can't take it
31:44in that explosion you've allowed yourself to be led by your emotions and twist to a sense depending on
31:50how you've reacted you probably sinned that's why it's talking about repentance here get back to god
31:59and say i'm sorry i cracked it i'm sorry i lost my cool i'm sorry i lost a few bolts i'm sorry lord
32:07and then have a sincere return to god in other words you spend time with him in his word in prayer
32:14you don't you know and don't be over religious you don't have to babble things or have to speak
32:19five hours in speaking in tongues because he can speak sincerely five minutes in tongues or you can
32:25speak religiously five hours and the five minutes is much more worthy much more acceptable to god
32:32than the five hours it's always understand that it's all it comes with discernment because relationship
32:40all right let's get a bible verse to confirm that all right so act chapter 3 verse 19 ampc
32:46so repent change your mind and purpose turn around and return to god that your sins may be erased
32:54blotted out wiped clean that times of refreshing of recovering from the effect of heat or reviving
33:03with fresh air may come from the presence of the lord amen so along with repentance we are called to
33:09submit ourselves fully to god james 4 verse 7 surrendering our will and trusting his divine plan
33:18for our lives remaining connected to god's word is critical to transform our hearts and sustain our
33:26faith john 15 verse 7 this connection fuels our ability to walk boldly and speak confidently in faith
33:35embodying the promises of god even in difficult times yeah so 2 corinthians 4 13 nkjv said and since we
33:44have the same spirit of faith according to what is written i believed and therefore i spoke we also
33:52believe and therefore speak amen so god's heart is always to restore his people prophet joel reminds us
34:00that god promises i will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten joel 2 verse 25 this
34:10restoration is personal is a personal invitation to reclaim your place in god's kingdom not a penalty or
34:18disqualification no matter where you've been or what you've done god invites you back into the fullness of your
34:28dominion and authority in christ jesus amen now this covenant is unwavering his grace is abundantly
34:36available and his invitation to restoration is open you haven't been disqualified you have just been
34:45invited back into dominion amen amen all right number six let's give you a summary of what we covered
34:53today yes all right number one kingdom covenant god's eternal agreement king kingdom covenant is god's
35:01eternal agreement god initiates covenant from love and grace it is binding it is relational and fulfilled
35:10in christ jesus alone through jesus we are given kingdom identity authority and purpose number two our
35:18identity as children of god in this we covered we are not becoming children of god we are already we
35:26already are through faith as joint heirs with christ we walk in royal authority and inheritance our behavior
35:34flows from our identity not the other way around amen number three we are seated in heavenly places so
35:43spiritually believers are seated with christ above all powers ephesians 2 verse 6 this positioning
35:51gives us dominion and victory in spiritual matters which manifests in our lives in the physical dominion is
35:59not pride it's walking in divine purpose with humility amen number four we did the fig tree lesson the
36:09fig tree represent a fruit fruitless appearance of faith religion without covenant fruit jesus teaches the
36:17power of faithful words and spiritual authority fruit fruit fruit fruitfulness is not optional in the kingdom
36:26it's expected number five what if you've lost it well you haven't god's gifts and callings are irrevocable
36:34romans 11 verse 29 restoration comes through repentance and return to god and your dominion hasn't been
36:43cancelled just paused you are invited back into full authority amen we are now gonna do some declaration and um
36:55for those who doesn't know we do declaration based on the whole studies that we've done so that you can
36:59actually declare it over your life so if you're listening right now you can just say amen or receive
37:04it or else you can actually re-listen to this um later on right father in the name of jesus we thank you
37:11for your everlasting covenant we declare today that we are not orphans but children of god by faith in christ
37:17jesus calatians 3 26. we are heirs of god and joined heirs with christ romans 8 17 called to walk
37:25in the authority you've given us you have raised us up and seated us in heavenly places in christ jesus

44:18gifts spiritual gifts like prophecy speaking in tongues healing all those things are gifts that he
44:25comes bearing that he will teach you how to exercise those gifts in the life that we are living here on
44:32earth remember the word of god is very clear and says that we are spirit beings with a body and a soul
44:36we are made in his image we are passing through as some translation says we're nothing but aliens
