00:00Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are saying goodbye to their UK farmhouse.

00:05The former talk show host and actress revealed to the Wall Street Journal July 22nd

00:09that they are listing their Cotswolds estate for about $30 million.

00:13The announcement comes less than a year after the couple relocated from California to England.

00:18The couple purchased the estate for about $20 million in the spring of 2024

00:22and completed extensive renovations.

00:25So are the couple returning to the US and that's the reason for the move?

00:29Nope, it's actually horses.

00:31Turns out they've already moved into another more contemporary home nearby

00:35with enough room to accommodate Portia's passion for the animals.

00:39Ellen tells the Wall Street Journal,

00:41When we decided to live here full time, we knew that Portia couldn't live without her horses.

00:45We needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures for them.

00:49Since heading across the pond, the comedian has shared several charming glimpses

00:52at her and her wife's new country life.
