Electric Food was a German super-group of Hard rock / psychedelic / progressive formed by the former members of Asterix, Bokaj Retsiem / Hell Preachers Inc., the German Bonds etc. in 1970. This super-group / project is another project proto-Lucifer's Friend, one of the most famous Hard Rock / Progressive German bands.
The Electric Food group only released two albums in 1970, its namesake and Flash, in which keyboardist Peter Hecht, bassist Bieter Horns and vocalist George Monro, who were from other super-groups such as Bokaj Retsiem, Hell, participated. Preachers Inc., The Pink Mice and Asterix, after all these guys would be called Lucifer's Friend, and would become one of the most famous Hard Rock / Heavy Metal / Progressive German bands.
Here we can find a great mix of Hard Rock with Folk, Psychedelia and Blues, sometimes remind Led Zeppelin, the Animals, Spooky Tooth, Uriah Heep, Canned Heat, Free, Deep Purple, Grand Funk Railroad and Frijid Pink.
