09:45reminded that thanks to a partnership with Russia they don't need to rely on it
09:49anymore our correspondent by Amir has more one of Brazil's key BRICS partnerships
09:56returned to the spotlight this week after CNN tried to spark panic by spreading an
10:01unsubstantiated rumor that the Trump administration would cancel Brazil's GPS
10:06service if Jair Bolsonaro were jailed scientists quickly noted that thanks to a
10:11partnership with Russia Brazil hosts the world's second largest number of ground
10:16control stations for GLONASS Russia's geolocation system today we don't just
10:23have GPS satellites orbiting the earth there are clusters of satellites from what
10:28we refer to as other constellations these satellite clusters work so that in case
10:37there are problems with one of the constellations the others overcome them

11:07Rousseff forged a partnership to install the first GLONASS ground monitoring
11:12station outside of Russia at Brasilia Federal University today there are five
11:17such stations in Brazil their primary function is to serve as fixed reference
11:22points that help calibrate and correct the orbits and signals of Russia's 24
11:27GLONASS satellites this partnership is important because every year the
11:32Russians visit and during this last visit we were able to increase our contact with
11:37other institutions they put us in touch with Russian technological institution so
11:42that we can build a new partnership in other areas of interest for our
11:47institutes and the state of Ponyambuco in addition to highlighting the
11:51importance of the bricks the media scandal reminded the public that due to
11:55constellations like GLONASS, EBAIDO and GALILEO the global south is no
12:00longer held hostage to US technology the way it was 20 years ago Brian Meir,
12:05tell us sir, Hesifi

13:21Welcome back to from the south this Tuesday the central bank of Venezuela shared that the country's economy group 6.65% in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the
13:28the same period last year.
13:41The institution indicated that there was a
13:52The institution indicated that there was a 12.27% growth in oil activity despite the
14:00end of US licenses to foreign companies and a 4.41% growth in non-oil activity.
14:07Likewise there was a 4.51% increase in real estate, professional, scientific, technical,
14:14administrative and support activities.
14:17These figures are important indicators of the national economy's capacity to recover
14:21from the adversities of recent years.
14:30In Venezuela, the closing of the electoral campaign in the 335 municipalities of the country
14:36started this Tuesday and will go on until Thursday, two days before the municipal elections.
14:42The head of the unified command of the Bolivarian Revolution, Jorge Rodriguez, stated that the
14:46promotion of the over 37,000 projects that the youth will vote for in the Third National
14:52Popular Consultation 2025 will go forward until Sunday.
14:57Furthermore, the National Electoral Council informed the process will count on over 15,000
15:04voting centers, some of which will be enabled in parallel.
15:08Rodriguez also detailed that over 21,524,000 voters are expected to join the urns to elect 2,806

15:27European media reports that the U.S. government requested a convicted murderer in the recent
15:34swap that resulted in the rescue of the kidnapped Venezuelans in El Salvador.
15:39The agreement, brokered by the Trump administration, allowed the release of 252 Venezuelans accused
15:45without trial of belonging to the defunct criminal gang Tren de Aragua.
15:50In exchange, Venezuela handed over 10 U.S. citizens, including Dahoud Hanid Ortiz, a former
15:57Marine sentenced to 30 years for murdering three people.
16:03Media began to spread the case, exposing the selectivity of the U.S. by receiving a convicted
16:10triple murder.
16:13This proves the thesis of the Venezuelan government, which has assured that the U.S. government has
16:19sent mercenaries to commit destabilizing acts in the country.
16:29Following the news of Black Sabbath singer Ossie Osborne's death at the age of 76, fans
16:35of all ages flocked to his start on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to bid him farewell and pay tribute.
16:43Ossie Osborne's legacy is not only measured by his influence on the history of rock and heavy
16:48metal, by honoring the music genre with Black Sabbath, but also by the devotion of his fans.
16:56Flowers, t-shirts, vinyl records and handwritten messages were placed around the artist's memorial
17:02in the Walk of Fame as a way of giving thanks for decades of music and rebellion.
17:07In the streets of Hollywood, dozens of Ossie's fans were seen parading in front of the improvised
17:13altar at the start that bears his name.
17:40In Guatemala, our team in another region of the country documented the stories most corporate
17:45media ignore and silence during the caravans of Central American migrants that in October
17:492018 were looking to cross the territory heading to the U.S.
17:54to the to the coast of Canada and to the coast of Canada.
17:59There's a battle for his name.
18:00President of the country said,
18:02Ossie Osborne's has been given the papers,
18:03and he was given the birth of a boat.
18:04According to the commonly used of the ship,
18:06and he technically wanted to cross the river.
18:07And he was given the evidence that he was very implication
18:09with his name in the country.
18:10The source of the migration and how he was given to the location of the leader
18:10was sent to the village in the Pacific,
18:12and he would not be seen as much information in the city of Mexico.
18:13Ossie Osborne,
18:14Ossie Osborne,
18:14is our material in the bird's baptism of the spreading of thepass and the world.
18:16骷 In the water and the water.
18:18Greetings colleagues, thank you very much for the signal.
18:20Thank you very much for the signal. When in Guatemala it is just past 9.30, the members of the migrant caravans begin to reorganize the ranks created shortly after noon this October the 19th in order to cross the Mexican border in an orderly manner and in groups of 40 people.
18:37These images recorded by Telesur on January the 16th, 2021 in the Pedro de Alvarado border between Guatemala and Honduras show the repressive forces.
18:50They weren't preparing to fight a declared enemy but to dissolve a river of people clinging to the hope of a promising future that pretended to cross Guatemalan territory heading for the US.
19:05How is it possible that the government of this country treat migrants like this, in spite that in the moment there was a new migration line in place since 2017 when migration in the country is declared a right?
19:20The incident in that border was barely documented by some alternative media.
19:26Corporate media coverage had ceased after the first October 2018 caravan.
19:32The presence of Telesur gave migrants security.
19:36I'm happy you are here. I like it because you give us motivation. And with you being around nobody is going to mistreat us. Because since you are media you can publish it. That for me is beauty. And we are now moving forward. We are all moving forward.
19:52During one of our routes in the distant department of Peteng, Telesur's team discovered a group of migrants cornered by the military under suspicious circumstances.
20:02Their presence positively changed these people's fates.
20:09Once we complied with their orders, we went back where they sent us, where they didn't follow biohazard measures, because we were locked up like animals. And then a truck from Guatemalan army showed up and put over 200 people.
20:23On January 17, 2021, Guatemalan armed forces stopped the advance of the second caravan. Thousands of migrants were left stranded for several days without water or food in the 177 kilometer in Varo Hondo. Chiquimula is Guatemala.
20:41Guatemala. We are dying of hunger. We are dying of thirst. We are dying because of the heat, because the sun is burning us and they have no mercy. So be conscious for our children. We have children for the kids. Please do it for the kids. I can't take it this anymore.
20:57Corporate press, following the official speech, presented migrants as criminal and gang members. The narrative excused the repression, ignoring multiple complaints against military men, accused of shouting at migrants who were trying to run for the bushes.
21:20In the name of this group of migrants that total to 15,000 people in this caravan, we want to denounce before the international community that if the two people that went missing by the hill turned up dead, it was the military who did it. They run for the hill and people are saying that they were killed.
21:44Telezor managed to document that the cause for the migrant caravan wasn't a monetary ambition, but a desperate response to centuries of oppression, invasion, poverty and violence in the Central American countries.
22:01Well, we know that it is a wave of migrants that comes in Caravan from Honduras.
22:07It is worrying that the human rights were not protected for these poor people that today are living because of the government of Honduras that has no public care policies and no care for poor people.
22:22And they have grown tired of the corruption during the pandemic.
22:30The migrant caravan of October 2018 was more than news. It was the tangible expression of the injustice and indifference experienced by the Central American peoples.
22:39The cruel handling by the governments and with the complicit traditional press is still an open wound.
22:46We are reminded that journalism in its purest form must represent the voice of the unprotected and of all those in disadvantage before those who carry the power and abuse it.
