00:05Hyde Park is one of London's most iconic green spaces and a key part of the city's royal parks.
00:12Located in central London, it covers around 350 acres and dates back to the 16th century,
00:19when it was originally created as a hunting ground by King Henry VIII.
00:24Today it's a public park known for its mix of natural beauty and cultural landmarks,
00:29popular attractions include the Serpentine Lake, the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain and Speaker's Corner,
00:36famous for free speech and public debate.
00:39Hyde Park also hosts major concerts, festivals and protests and is a popular spot for walking, cycling and boating.
00:48It's home to diverse wildlife and provides a peaceful escape from the city's fast pace.
