Popeye and Bluto both work as cooks in a diner run by Olive Oyl. As soon as the orders start coming in, they each try to outdo the other by preparing the best meal to win Olive's praise. Plates fly through the air, pot lids turn into battle shields, and the kitchen becomes a battlefield of comic sabotage, cooking mishaps, and over-the-top physical rivalry.
