00:00it burns so good and I love it. Peels my lips right off. I'll grow new ones like it doesn't matter
00:07as long as they're plump. Period.
00:15The first item that I have is this little knick-knack that I got on my flight on the way
00:20here. It was really sweet and I was literally journaling about how I wanted more trinkets in
00:24my new house. I feel like it's a lost art. A lot of houses are really into like contemporary
00:28minimalism and stuff like that and we're losing the art of trinkets and items of memorabilia in the
00:34home. The next thing in my bag is a pair of Prada heels. This should be self-explanatory. Emergencies,
00:43subways, bodegas. You have to have your Pradas. I mean it's just it's class.
00:49The next item is my wallet. It's heavy. Oh I don't know if I can show you what's in it but you know
01:01real quick. You know what I'm saying? Passport and a lot of money. Okay my grills. I bring them with me
01:09everywhere because you never know. I actually wore these grills the day of the Met Gala. I had these
01:17made to go with the Louis Vuitton look that Pharrell designed for me. A journal. A leather journal.
01:27I got this because I felt like it would inspire me to write more poetry which it did but yeah I like
01:33to just document things that I see on the road and thoughts that I have, epiphanies that I have, dreams,
01:39everything. My whole experience is in my journal. I mean a lot of this is like super super raw vulnerable
01:46writing so I won't get into anything too deep but one that I have here is I have access to an
01:51unlimited supply. Reach out and take what you desire anytime you like. God doesn't run out of blessings.
01:59Next thing in my bag is a book that I'm currently reading and it's called Your Silence Will Not
02:04Protect You by Audre Lorde and it's incredible. I'll read the line out of it that I really like.
02:10She said the transformation of silence into language and action is an act of self-revelation
02:18and I really like that line because it just encourages me to constantly keep using my voice
02:23in my music and in my art and when I have platforms whether it be at award shows or whatever
02:30I use my voice as much as possible to reach other black women, to reach the youth, to inspire people, to
02:38make change and and do things and say things and create things that benefit the collective.
02:44That's what Audre does for me. Yeah. Okay this next one is kind of ghetto.
02:50Ramen. Ramen. You get hungry and it's like it's instant. All you need is a bottle of water
02:58and the sun and you could cook something in here. I mean my mom is shaking her head right now.
03:03But this comes in handy. I get hungry.
03:10Let's go a little bit like in the pocket here. Let's dig deep. Okay so I have to have my lippies.
03:16Keep your lips moisturized at all times. I have the Fenty Skin Lip Mask. My makeup artist put me onto that.
03:21Chelsea, she's amazing. I just wear it as a lip now because it's just fab. And then I have the Sephora
03:28lip gloss and I love it. My laptop. But the laptop is not as important as what's inside of it. Here I have
03:43the manuscripts of a really cool show that's coming up. We got this writer, his name is Jaboukie,
03:49he's super talented, to write this whole show for us because I'm interested in blending theater and hip
03:56pop and turning like performances into plays kind of. And we have the script. It's going to be fantastic.
04:07These shades are my like incognito shades. So I don't wear like my super fancy ones out. I just wear
04:14these. Not that they're not fancy. They're not. I'm sorry. They're not. But anyway, these are my incognito
04:20shades when I don't want to be caught by anybody or seen. Showbiz can get really, really intense and
04:25everybody's like, don't you. We need you. Everybody just get out for a second. I do
04:35some meditating and solitude and space. I just need space. Glastonbury was a wild, wild day.
04:45I believe that we were on site for it had to be over 10 hours. And I saw so many cool performers. I saw
04:52Ama Ray. I know Ray performed. Gracie performed. Charlie performed. We performed at the same time,
05:00which it should be illegal. It was an incredible show. And I think that me and my team pushed
05:06ourselves like the hardest that we ever had to put together that production and it came out amazing.
05:13Okay. So next I have my Louis Vuitton perfume. They gifted this to me for the day of the Met Gala as well.
05:20And I love this scent. I would describe it as androgynous. The top is missing.
05:32To me, it smells like if a cologne and a perfume were mixed together. I'm going to spray some now,
05:37actually. It's fab. Any gender, any style, any outfit, any time of the day. That's my go-to.
05:43The next item is going to be one of my signature hats. I wear these hats all the time. And what's
05:51crazy is that I don't actually know what they're called. I just know that I love them. Like it looks
05:57crazy right now, but get into it. See where I'm from in the hood, they call these fuck ass hats.
06:08But yeah, no one eats every time. Like it's going to take any casual fit to high fashion instantly.
06:15This next item is an essential. If you're going to the club or you're out at a day party,
06:22out at the beach, anything. The girls that know, know. A fan.
06:27I beg. It is so good. And I need it right now. Just listen to it.
06:37Yeah. A fan. That's all. That's all I got, guys.
06:45I mean, this bag means, of course, practicality, but also like just flat out luxury. But also it has
06:53like this meaning to me because I was gifted this bag during the Met Gala. And so every time
07:01I pick it up and I use it, I just have like this appreciation for Louis Vuitton and for Pharrell
07:07and being able to be a part of Pharrell's vision while he's like designing is just an incredible time
07:17for Louis Vuitton right now. And I feel really, really good to be a part of that. I think like the
07:21most grounding thing that is in my bag is my journal. I keep a journal on me at all times because I have
07:29to document my thoughts. I have to have some type of release for my feelings. I have had a journal
07:35since I was in probably the fourth or fifth grade and I've documented my entire coming of age experience.
07:44And one day I want to make it into a book. I'm actually in this kind of mood.
07:56Well, that's what was in my bag. I'm Dochi. Bye, y'all.
08:05What's a proper outro? Because that was crazy.
08:07That's what's in my bag. Thank you, Vogue. I'm Dochi. Until next time. Bye.
