00:00Oh, would you like to do one together while I show you my makeup?
00:20Hey Vogue, I'm Gracie Abrams and this is What's in My Bag.
00:24This is the Chanel 25 and it's very quickly become like my Mary Poppins bag.
00:34I think there's probably 20 to 30 items in here, but I could be wrong.
00:37There could be upwards of 30 and we'll find out together.
00:40My first item, this is peeking out.
00:43Okay. This is actually quite upsetting how disorganized this is.
00:47So please don't be mad. Great.
00:49This is a perfect representation of the state of things.
00:53Let's start with the phone charger these days.
00:57I feel like I'm leaving very early in the morning and returning quite late in the evening.
01:02And so this becomes useful multiple times throughout the day.
01:06This lash curler was tangled up in there.
01:09I don't like wearing mascara unless I'm lucky enough to work with somebody who's really good at applying it.
01:14So I use this instead.
01:16My headphones.
01:17I think there's probably more than one pair in here, but these are arguably my most important item.
01:22What am I listening to these days?
01:25Let me tell you with my next item in my bag, my cell phone.
01:29I was listening to the Japanese breakfast album, the new one.
01:32I've been listening to a lot of Jeff Buckley.
01:34I love the new Heim song and the Gaga album.
01:39This is a body oil that I got on tour in Oregon.
01:46A bunch of us went to this tiny little hot spring spa situation and they sold this there and it's like a coconut horchata scent and it's amazing.
02:00It smells like everything you want to be.
02:04What else?
02:05My disguises.
02:06A mask for all things.
02:10We all like had the plague on tour.
02:12So I wore this all the time.
02:13This is one of the hats that I wear most often.
02:16My friend Ella made this for her birthday.
02:19Very sweet.
02:20Everyone went home with it.
02:22What else?
02:23Okay.
02:24This is my journal.
02:25This is my new journal as of the past month and I'm really loving this one.
02:30It feels charged energetically.
02:33There's something like very inspiring about this journal to me.
02:35It's lined.
02:36Got it from my favorite store in the world, which is called Choosing Keeping in London.
02:40If you like weird stationery and great pens, I recommend you visit them in person or online.
02:46And I've got some things in here.
02:48This is a card that Dora Jar wrote on our last day of tour.
02:53This is a Polaroid that someone gave me on our last show of the Europe Leg of Tour, which they took when Taylor and I did us at Wembley together, which is so sweet.
03:01So I want to like frame this when I can.
03:05Got dinner with Ari last night who just gets it more than anyone.
03:09I've known her for eight years now and still constantly, I wonder how I got so lucky to have her in my life.
03:13Ari is my college roommate, like sister.
03:16I normally don't write songs in the same journal that I journal in.
03:19Every once in a while, if it's like the nearest thing, I will, but not yet.
03:24I think I'm going to try to not have there be crossover this time, but I say that every time.
03:31Next, deck of cards.
03:33Play lots of gin rummy.
03:35I'm very competitive, so I don't always write down the score if I'm not winning the round.
03:40It's dark, dark, dark.
03:42These are my sunglasses.
03:44My stylist, Spencer Singer, introduced me to this shape when we were shooting the I Love You, I'm Sorry music video.
03:51And I have not worn a different pair since then.
03:55Yeah.
03:56And I do have a...
03:57See, there's a case.
03:58It just wasn't in the case, but this is a good opportunity for me to organize.
04:01Yep.
04:02Gorgeous.
04:04I have no sense of time.
04:05When did we film that music video?
04:06It was in the summer, apparently.
04:09It was.
04:10It was so hot.
04:10I got a really gnarly sunburn.
04:12Everyone on set that day got such gross sunburns.
04:16And we saw each other a few days later and everyone was like peeling and like walking around like, oh my God.
04:21So it was gross, but it was also a really nice time.
04:23Passport.
04:24This is a new one.
04:25This is so fresh.
04:26So this one has only been...
04:28Well, it's crazy because, yeah.
04:30Well, let's see.
04:31One, two, three, four, five, six, seven times.
04:36My wallet.
04:37There are things in here that aren't, like, they really shouldn't be in here.
04:42Let me show you.
04:43Can you see?
04:46It's a bird head.
04:47I just thought they were gorgeous.
04:50They look like little statues.
04:52So there's these.
04:53This is a ring that we got in Portugal.
04:57This is a mess.
04:57This is really holding me accountable now.
04:59I know it's not a good thing that they're in here, but it means that they are my most frequently worn.
05:05It's, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.
05:08And then we have some pieces from Chanel.
05:11This is, these are Cocoa Crush pieces.
05:13These are, like, my most everyday hoop.
05:16And this is a ring that I really shouldn't keep in here because they're letting me borrow it.
05:21Ah!
05:21Don't tell.
05:22Don't tell.
05:23And then this is a guitar pick that my dad made me.
05:28These are the gifts that we get are, like, really beautifully drawn cards or crafts.
05:35He's, like, a crafty guy or whatever.
05:37So he made me this official good luck pick.
05:40And I, I can't play with it because, to be honest, the material itself is not great.
05:45All right.
05:46Super boring.
05:48Cough drops.
05:49This is the first year that I've worked with a vocal coach.
05:51Like, I'm learning how to properly take care of, like, the muscle that are your vocal cords.
05:55This is another thing that I have been using.
05:58This is a steroid inhaler.
05:59Really sexy.
06:00Flonase is, I will say, like, of course, a staple for being on tour, but also if you're allergy prone.
06:07I learned from my ENT recently that this isn't just, like, a works on a once a day.
06:13Like, you have to be on a schedule.
06:15Once a day is a schedule.
06:16I don't, I mean, like, if you use it once, it doesn't really, it's not very effective.
06:18You have to be on a schedule.
06:19So if you use Flonase and you're like, why isn't it working?
06:22Um, schedule.
06:24This is the Caudalie mist.
06:29This is grounding.
06:30That's grounding, I'll say.
06:31These are two lighters that my cousin Abby made for my birthday.
06:35She bedazzled a ton of lighters.
06:38This one has the LeBron smiling through it all.
06:41Can't believe this is my life on it.
06:42Yeah, this is important to me.
06:44Flamingo Estate, Manuka rich cream.
06:46It's dry in the winter.
06:48Big fan.
06:50This is my current most used beauty product.
06:53It's basically part of my skincare routine at this point.
06:55It is the skin tint by Hourglass.
06:57I'm shade three.
07:00If you care.
07:01Another essential is the Laneige sleeping mask.
07:05I'm just going to keep it pushing.
07:07Afrin.
07:08You're getting lots of like nasal sinus related products.
07:13I am feeling clogged up.
07:14It's crazy you'd ask.
07:15Go look.
07:18I've got to stay on schedule.
07:20Keeping it in the world of health.
07:22Hand sanitizer.
07:22This is my favorite.
07:23It's a spray.
07:24It's like lavender.
07:26It's great.
07:27More health related products.
07:29Advil.
07:30Aquaphor.
07:32Coconut oil lip balm.
07:33Some pens.
07:34Did I speed through too fast?
07:36I'm like, should we talk about the Aquaphor?
07:38Actually, I will say I do love Aquaphor.
07:40I have forever.
07:41They recently sent me a tub and they were like,
07:43we heard you like us.
07:44And I was like, it's much deeper than that,
07:47but I couldn't have been more.
07:48I'm going to like frame the card.
07:50Okay. Let's see.
07:51Four pens.
07:52These are like my go-to.
07:53This is a pen that I really like,
07:55but I wouldn't choose this one first.
07:58This one is slowly dying and I'm in denial.
08:00So I've kept it around, but they're the same.
08:03Like, they're all the same.
08:05Nothing is wrong with the blue pen.
08:08Nothing's wrong with it.
08:09I use this, but these are like,
08:11if I had to show you something that I care about deeply,
08:13it's these ones.
08:14I haven't journaled yet today.
08:15Sitting here showing Vogue my nasal sprays, period.
08:26What a life.
08:31Okay, gum.
08:33Element electrolyte mix.
08:36It's so bad on the body to travel so much.
08:39So we try to just keep it like the least gross as possible.
08:42Oh, this is my mirror.
08:44My hairstylist Bobby got me this for Christmas this year.
08:48And I love him very much.
08:51And I love that mirror.
08:52My keys with my mace for safety.
08:55Also key chain that we made for I love you.
08:59I'm sorry. It says asshole beer.
09:01So this is a combination I'm very proud of.
09:03Okay.
09:04Fragrances.
09:05I think I have two.
09:06Oh, I have three in here.
09:07Perfect.
09:08My friend Claudia has this company called Cycler,
09:12and she just makes everything smell perfect.
09:15Another Flonase.
09:16Oh, another lash curler.
09:19Some MT tape.
09:20I'm always taping things down.
09:22So tape.
09:25Put it here.
09:25Capo for guitar.
09:28Guitar pick that I actually do use.
09:30This is the Dunlop 0.71 important.
09:34There's so much in here.
09:35Do we even want to talk about it?
09:36Can I tell you like my two faves?
09:38This is in what shade is this rise?
09:40I don't love lip gloss.
09:42I don't love how it makes me feel.
09:44This is like a bomb, but it has a nice sheer color.
09:47I'm sure you can tell.
09:48This is glam that we just finished shooting in.
09:52And I put this on and I feel more like myself within an instant.
09:57So there's that my other two essentials in here though.
10:02I love it all is this arc pencil for like,
10:07you can see I use it so much that the caps are missing.
10:10That's upsetting.
10:11And this is a brow gel, but it's actually got to be hair gel.
10:15And we just like shove it in the tube and this,
10:18and this actually fits an embarrassing amount of product,
10:21but you don't need to see all of it.
10:24I have one other thing.
10:25It's a sticker that unfortunately isn't functional anymore,
10:32but it's someone made this on tour.
10:34It's a custom sticker of my dog, Weenie.
10:36He's kind of a very weird looking like alien dog.
10:39And they captured his essence beautifully.
10:42And the very, very, very last thing is a brush
10:45that doesn't fit in my makeup bag.
10:4730 feels like a safe number.
10:52You counted?
10:53Yeah, we counted.
10:5449.
10:5549 items.
10:57Didn't I say it could be upwards?
10:59That is foul.
11:00But let's just talk about the power of this.
11:03That's kind of a big deal.
11:04Thank you for indulging me.
11:06I hope you don't judge too harshly.
11:11Oh, another pen.
11:12Whatever.
11:13La la la.
11:14Should I just do more vocal warmups maybe?
11:17Got to hit that high B.
11:24We're actually currently working on stretching my range.
11:28So I'll keep you posted, but I can hit the high B.
11:32Okay.
11:32I'm just going to really,
11:33I'm just going to be the way that I am
11:36and just really get it going.
11:39So foul.
11:42So exposing.
11:45What a great time.
11:46Thank you so much for having me
11:48and thank you for tolerating all that.
11:51Adore you.
11:51Thank you so much, Vogue.
11:53Love you.
11:54Bye.
11:55Bye.
12:00You just shot your first Vogue cover.
12:02Yeah!
