00:00So, just on the legal threats that we've heard against the Wall Street Journal as well,
00:04could this actually backfire?
00:06Could it bring more attention, do you think, to the Epstein case
00:08and actually have the opposite effect compared to what Trump would like to see happen?
00:12Well, there is certainly that possibility.
00:14Donald Trump has posted on social media that he is looking forward to public testimony
00:19if all of this goes to court.
00:22But that in itself could potentially be damaging for the president
00:26because the Wall Street Journal would be hauled up in front of a judge
00:29in front of a court, all of it on the public record,
00:33having to explain details of this story that they published,
00:37details of how they got that information, how they were able to find out
00:41and what they saw when they reviewed that book related to Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday.
00:48They would have to talk more about this alleged letter
00:51that Donald Trump may or may not have written.
00:54So there is that potential that this could boomerang back on the president
00:58because he is the one that's pushing to sue the Wall Street Journal.
01:01But the Wall Street Journal might have more information
01:03that they could potentially release as a result of that lawsuit.
