DEHRADUN — Chaos erupted on Rispana bridge around 3:30 am when a truck carrying about 600 boxes of mangoes overturned, scattering mangoes all over the road.
Instead of helping the injured driver and conductor, locals rushed to loot the mangoes. Some grabbed boxes, others scooped up the fruit by hand, while a few stood by filming videos without offering help.
The looting caused a long traffic jam on the bridge. No casualties have been reported so far.
