A truck crashed into a gorge in northern India after a bridge buckled under the vehicle's weight on June 22.

The vehicle carrying heavy machinery slowly edges over the bridge but the structure could not support the weight and tipped the truck into a nearby gorge in the hill-state of Uttarakhand.

According to eyewitness Kushal Kumar, the Valley Bridge in Munsyari is meant for light vehicles only.

Two people were injured in the incident, including the truck driver and the man in a white shirt seen following behind the vehicle. Both were being treated at a local hospital as of Wednesday morning.
