00:00You've had some big influences in your career so far, obviously Arnie Slott and

00:03Robin van Persie. How influential were they in your career?

00:08Yeah, Van Persie was a little bit shorter, my last five months at the club.

00:13But Slott was the coach who brought me to the first team together with his

00:18assistant now as well, Liverpool, Sipke. So the same as I am really thankful to

00:24Feyenoord, I'm really thankful as well to him because he was the one

00:28putting the trust in me to put me in the first team when I was in the academy.

00:32So, and I learned a lot from him. He's a really, really, really good coach.

00:36So everything, everything you will see from me on the pitch is 99%

00:42because of him. Have you spoken to him before you came to England?

00:46Yeah, yeah, I spoke to him. I told him that I was going to go to England

00:50and he was very happy for me and he looked forward to see me again

00:54playing against him because I also had a very good connection with him, not only

00:57football-wise, but also in my personal life. He knew a lot of things going on in my life.

01:01So I had a lot of good talks with him. So when I had the chance to go to Burnley,

01:07I called him and asked him how I would fit in the Premier League,

01:10how he thought my chances would be here. So that's the thing I did.
