Kadi (Gujarat), July 15 (ANI): Meet Chelsi and Ved, Class 12 science students from Kadi, Gujarat, whose dreams of becoming a pharmacist and agricultural researcher are now within reach, thanks to the Namo Saraswati Yojana. Launched in 2024 by the Gujarat Government under CM Bhupendra Patel, the scheme provides ₹25,000 over two years to Class 11–12 science students from low-income families. The funds are deposited directly into the mothers’ accounts, empowering women and supporting education. With a ₹250 crore budget, over 1.38 lakh students have already benefited. By removing financial barriers, the scheme is shaping a future driven by science, innovation, and equal opportunity across Gujarat.
