Gandhinagar (Gujarat), July 12 (ANI): The Namo Lakshmi Yojana, launched in February 2024 by Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, empowers girls from low-income families in Classes 9–12 by removing financial barriers to education. With a ₹1,250 crore budget, the scheme offers up to ₹50,000 per girl over four years—₹500/month in Classes 9–10, ₹750/month in 11–12, plus bonuses after board exams. Beneficiaries like Shreya Rabari and Riddhi Thakor are now pursuing their dreams without financial stress. For many families, it means hope, relief, and the promise of a brighter future. 01:33With a 1250 crore rupees budget, the scheme gives girls up to 50,000 rupees over four years.

02:11In addition, students receive 10,000 rupees after clearing class 10th and 15,000 rupees upon passing class 12th board exams.
