00:00To me, there's still only one guy I feel great about, no questions asked.
00:04There are two guys that are certainly trending in the direction
00:07where you say they might be good this year.
00:09Baio more so than Giolito.
00:11But Baio I have confidence in, but it's hard to say, like, you're all set.
00:15You're our number two starter in an ALCS or something like that.
00:19I don't feel great about that either.
00:20But, like, I'm not – you wouldn't need to upgrade if it was, like –
00:24for example, like, if he hypothetically was, like, your fourth starter,
00:27he wouldn't be like, I better go out and get somebody.
00:28But, no, right now you're moving him up to two.
00:30You're moving Giolito over to three.
00:31And then after that, I mean, Dobbins is out now.
00:33He's on the IL.
00:35And you look at what else is there.
00:37I'm not going to look at the last two starts of Walker Buehler
00:39and be like, all right, you're good here.
00:41So if they can add somebody else – because I always make the case every postseason
00:45that you could go to a three-man rotation, and nobody really does.
00:48They almost always go four-man.
00:49You're always like, well, there's an extra day.
00:50They're like, no, no, no.
00:51They're not really doing it.
00:52They would rather go four-man than bring somebody back in, like,
00:54a relief appearance than they would start them on short rest.
00:58So you need – going into the playoffs, you need four starters.
01:00And right now, that fourth one, you'd be kind of dicey with what you have
01:04on the roster.
01:04Yeah, so to me, it would be foolish to count on Baio and Giolito
01:09to keep doing what they're doing.
01:11And it doesn't sound to me like Breslow's doing that.
01:13It sounds to me like they like their depth.
01:16They know they need to get somebody in front of Baio and Giolito
01:19to slot them properly.
01:20If you have Crochet, a number two, whoever that is.
01:24My guy, Edward Cabrera, got hurt over the weekend,
01:26so I don't know how feasible that is with trade.
01:29Joe Ryan is a name that's been kicked around a ton.
01:31We've talked about the arms in Seattle.
01:33We've talked about the arms in San Diego.
01:35There's been a lot of them that we've discussed.
01:37Some we like, some we don't.
01:38But slot in whoever that is for you.
01:40Number two behind Crochet.
01:42You feel so much better if Baio's your three, Giolito's your four.
01:46And continuing to count on those guys to keep doing what they're doing,
01:49to me, would be a massive mistake.
01:51Because, one, they could get hurt.
01:53Two, they could level off and go back to what they've been prior.
01:56You know, three, maybe you've got to factor in some drop-off from Crochet
01:59in the second half, though I didn't see any of that on Saturday.
02:02So that, to me, is the right way to be thinking about the deadline.
02:06And I'm even more where I was at the end of last week, Keith.
02:09I'm not subtracting Durant off this team if I can help it.
02:12I don't want to trade a guy like Christian Campbell.
02:14I want to trade from the farm system.
02:16Yeah.
02:17Prospects, nameless, faceless prospects.
