00:10That's two days of half-priced movies for AMC's 36 million Stubs members.
00:15And the savings don't stop there.
00:17AMC is also slashing prices on snacks.
00:20Small popcorn and drink combos are now 50% off on both discount days.
00:24AMC CEO Adam Aaron is calling it one of the company's biggest pro-consumer moves in years.
00:30And cited overwhelmingly positive guest feedback so far.
00:34With streaming on the rise and moviegoing costs adding up,
00:37AMC is betting that deeper discounts can bring audiences back to the big screen.
00:41The 2025 box office is actually up over 14% year-to-date.
00:45The summer movie season is up 15% compared to last year, according to Comscore.
00:49However, earnings are down roughly 24% in 2025 compared to pre-pandemic levels.
