USC Trojans Tight End Lake McRee Discusses How Versatile The Tight End Group is
Transcript
00:00How versatile is this room for this group?
00:02Very versatile.
00:03I feel like someone adds a little bit of everything.
00:06We have a little bit of everything in that room.
00:09You got dudes like Walter who sent me a picture.
00:13He was 280 pounds on the scale today.
00:15And then you got dudes like Tabo who are quick, finesse,
00:18and can do a lot of stuff.
00:19So a lot of different stuff in that room.
00:20It's cool to see those guys, what they can do in practice.
00:23And yeah, it'll be cool to see how that translates in the season.
00:27You're one of the longest 10-year guys on the team
00:29Yeah, one of the few guys left.
00:30You played for the old coaching staff.
00:31Have you stepped up as more of a leader?
00:34So what's it been like being one of the longest 10-year guys?
00:37Yeah, I mean, it's crazy.
00:38I think I'm one of two or three guys that was recruited by Helton.
00:41Even though I don't feel old, but I am old.
00:45So yeah, it's been good.
00:47It's something that I've had to work on
00:48is being more of a vocal leader.
00:49I tend to lead by example a lot.
00:50So that was something that Coach Riley and Coach Hanson
00:54and Coach Savage are getting me to work on.
00:57But yeah, I feel like I've stepped more into a vocal leader role
01:01this spring and this offseason, but it's good for me.
01:04Thank you for listening.
