USC Trojans Tight End Lake McRee Addresses His "Unfinished Business"
Transcript
00:00What is your unfinished business?
00:02Winning. Winning something.
00:03You know, I have two bowl game rings,
00:06but I want something that means a little more.
00:08So, you know, that's not only what I want,
00:11that's what our whole team wants.
00:12So, you know, that's what we have on our mind right now in spring,
00:15but, you know, we've got to take it one day at a time.
00:17Lake, as the older spokesman of this tight end group,
00:19first of all, what have you seen kind of from the younger guys
00:21who have come in, and second of all,
00:23have they been pushing you and kind of giving you a hard time,
00:25or have they been great to work with?
00:26Yeah, great to work with.
00:28You know, right when they come in and, you know,
00:30college is a culture shock, you know,
00:32they've got to figure it out a little bit.
00:33But I've been in their shoes before.
00:35I know how that goes.
00:36So I know there's a little speed bumps to that sometimes.
00:38So I was, you know, pretty understanding with that.
00:40But they were great, man.
00:41I mean, Nella's a super hard worker.
00:43You know, the guys that are coming back for, you know,
00:46their second and third years of college are great.
00:47So they've been doing great stuff on the field,
00:49you know, great guys on and off the field.
00:52Can you anticipate your role in being a bigger part of the path?
00:55Yeah, absolutely.
00:56I think, you know, that was one of the things
00:59that me and Coach Riley talked about after the season
01:02and something that was important to both of us
01:04that we wanted to, you know, display a little bit more.
