00:08I asked what that meant, just like staying in the NBA for three to five seasons

00:14He said, no, all-star consideration for Bronny James.

00:18I bit my tongue.

00:20I want him to think fondly of his summer at SportsGrid.

00:32Starter, bench player, Hall of Famer, or other.

00:38Now, most of the public, more than 70%, saying that Bronny James,

00:43if he sticks around the association, will be a reserve role player, bench player.

00:53It's like, okay, well, what can you be?

00:54I'm a starter in the NBA.

00:56All right, if I don't start, I am a bench player.

00:58And if I'm really good, I'm a Hall of Famer.

01:00And then there's other, like, what other type of player can you be,

01:04to be honest?

01:05Like, what's the right answer?

01:07Because I use the other.

01:07Like, G League player, I think would be other.

01:11Yeah, all right.

01:11So, I hit other because, like, I want to sell Bronny James

01:15on Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

01:16I mean, let me tell you something.

01:18We'll get to a nice job over there.

01:20You know, you can rent Pops cars all day long.

01:23Maverick Carter, like Rich Paul.

01:25Like, you can actually get a fleet together.

01:28You can make some pretty good commissions, probably,

01:30on selling those cars.

01:31I think that's probably the best thing.

01:32Dad owns, like, what was it, like Blaze Pizza?

01:35Like, you could be a general manager of Blaze Pizza.

01:37There's a lot this kid can do here and be set up for life.

01:40He doesn't have to play in the NBA and just sit back and relax and enjoy it.

01:43So, I did go other, figuring that there's other opportunities outside the NBA

01:48that will be certainly beneficial to him as well.

01:51I love that for you, DRS, that your other was not, like,

01:54out of the NBA in two years or just a G League player, a two-way type of guy.

01:58You are trying to sell the son of LeBron James on working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

02:04If he doesn't have an NBA career, I'm not sure he will need to go to Enterprise.

02:10I think, at his best, the next few years, DRS,

02:13he will be battling for bench spots and some reserve minutes

02:16with J.J. Redick and the Lakers.

02:18Like, that's it.

02:20I do not believe that he is going to be an impact player at the NBA.

02:24We saw last night, he can defend.

02:26He was really good against Cooper Flagg, making shot selection very difficult.

02:31He doesn't have enough offensively, one of six from beyond the arc yesterday.

02:36I think, at best, he's a reserve player.

02:38But, again, that's it, best, for the next few seasons.

02:41I don't think he has a seven- to ten-year NBA career.

02:45Most kids are like, hey, Dad, play another year in the NBA.

02:48Understanding that, like, hey, we get Dad home and it's fun to watch him on TV.

02:52But this kid is actually like, Dad, please play so I can play in the NBA.
