00:00The 52nd Daytime Emmy nominations include the best of the best, and E! News is officially

00:06nominated for Outstanding Entertainment News Series. Alongside Entertainment Tonight, Access

00:11Hollywood, and Extra. Previously, E! News has been nominated for the category in 2023-2020,

00:17and several more times since the award's inception in 2014. And just a few years after E! News

00:23debuted in 1991, the network scooped up a win in the Outstanding Special Class Program category.

00:30for Talk Soup in 1995. The upcoming ceremony, which will be held October 17th in Pasadena,

00:36California, also honors other great programs in daytime television, with the addition of new

00:42categories. Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama

00:48Series, and Outstanding Regional Content in a Daytime Genre. The President and CEO of the National

00:53Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Adam Sharp, said in his statement to E! News,

00:58We're excited to recognize the exceptional individuals and teams who make daytime television

01:03great every year, and in some cases, every day. We're enthusiastic to convene with and celebrate

01:09the whole daytime community in one ceremony.
